I received an email pop-up stating if I took a survey regarding my Time Warner Cable service that I would be eligible for a gift. After I took the survey, I was shown a list of gifts to choose from. I chose cosmetic products from Premiera Skincare. I was asked to pay a small shipping free that required a credit card payment. In a few days, I was mailed small samples of product. Within a week, I noticed that $180 had been charged to my credit card by Premiera. I contacted the company by phone, but their reps only speak broken English and are obvviously reading from a script that says when I took the samples I agreed to a monthly payment to continue receiving the product. When I demanded my money, the rep argued with me starting with an offer to return 25%, then 50, then 75, and finally agreeing to 100% refund. I monitered my card until I received a 50% return and then reported this scam to my card holder, and to Time Warner.
