Two young women came to our home and stated they were trying to earn money to go to college, and also if they sold a certain quota of product, they could go on a trip. At first they tried to sell me some magazines, and I declined. I didn't want any more magazines. Then they told me about the coupon book that I could get. They said it was a book of $5.oo and $10.00 coupons that could be used anywhere for anything. They said they were more like vouchers that you could use just like cash.
At first I said no, but they whined, and pleaded, and asked why I would turn down the opportunity for $1000.00 worth of these vouchers, at a cost of only $30.00. After a length of time, my common sense left me, and I agreed to purchase the book of "vouchers". What I received was not a book of vouchers, but a book of coupons that I could mail back, along with $2.00, for 1-5 coupons that would total $10.00 worth of coupons. I could only send in one of these coupons at a time, and each time I would be required to enclose another $2.00.
In other words, it's just another scam... who is going to pay $2.00 for coupons that you can get for free in the Sunday paper? I feel like such an idiot for falling victim to this scam.
The resolution I seek is the return of my $30.00. Anything you can do to help me realize this goal would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!
HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:
Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish you file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.
According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.
If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 # , and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.
Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!
DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!
Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/comptroller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.
And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.
Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.
If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.
CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.
Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
And good luck Let us know how you do!

$2 for $10 isnt all
AUTHOR: Guindle - (United States of America)

Ok
First off the selection is horrible. So $10 is going to be about all I can find that I use. There is no variation in brands. There just isnt enough coupons to make it worth it. Plus everyone keeps saying its $2 to ship the coupons, my program its 10% processing fee which is $100 on $1000. The problem is that there isnt even $1000 worth of coupons to choose from. I don't think its an issue of being lazy, I think the issue is that when you call and speak with the represenative they tell you your first $1000 coupons are free! Minus 7.95 shipping. Well they aren't free, your first $1000 have a 10% processing fee. They say they make this up with additional coupons but if the coupons they offer have little that I use, the additional coupons I probablly would have NO use for. You are better off getting a subscription to the Sunday only paper, watch for "express news" or other junk mail flyers and little newspapers, since the economy went in the dumps they actually put a whole pack of manufacture coupons in those now. Sign up online for valpak and other coupon mailers your city offers. Get the entertainment book and also shop on billmelater website in the offer directory for coupon codes. You dont have to have a billmelater account to use the percent off coupons. There are also numerous online coupon sites, though the stores around here dont take them so I have no use. Sign up for coupons and mailings from all your favorite stores, I get coupons mailed to me for special events at clothing and retail stores all the time. If you are a deal hunter keep your coupon book with you at all times. Review the sunday paper for sales and match them with your coupons. Simply put this program is not worth it, scam? maybe not but its definetly not worth it.

Lazy People Can't Save Money!

I have used this company many times and have always gotten the coupons I have ordered. Its statements like this person has made that causes people to think legitimate companies like Grocery Saver are a scam. Just listen to what she says She would have to send in a $2 processing fee to get $10 worth of coupons Hello! who out there wouldnt pay $2 for $10 worth of groceries? The company always includes an extra $2 and sometime more to cover the processing fee. This is the type of person that wants something free with no effort on their part. And as far as the comment why not just buy the Sunday paper? How many Sunday papers would you have to buy to get $1,000 worth of coupons? Not only that but also the coupons in the paper are usually ones you cant use. This company lets you pick your own coupons for only the products you want. So I guess if you are the type of person who is too lazy to lick an envelope or too lazy to go to their website and click on the coupons you want then free money probably isnt in your near future. As for me, I will pay $2 to get $10 all day long. Well cant stay any longer got to go use my free money at the grocery store, after all I worked so hard to get it by licking envelopes.
