I just recieved al letter from pressler and pressler representeng midland managment re: an old credit card that went into collections about 3 yrs ago. I have never recieved any phone calls or letters from midland to try to settle this debt, the only communication i have ever recieved from them was this lawsuit letter yesterday. i have already written the validation letter requestiongl the info to prove i am obligated to pay them, the questions have are am i to also send this letter w/ the answer letter from the courts? doiwait for a response from pressler before sending the answer letter and what if they don't respond to the validation letter?.
i am not trying to get out of paying the debt if i am obligated to i just know the amount they are asking for is more than what is owed . please help
