Pressler & Pressler, Attorneys And Bill Collectors Collection company posing as lawyers filed a judgment and put a lien on my house, Internet, New Jersey

This company filed a judgment against my son in court for past due credit card fees. The amount of the original credit card debt is unknown to me and when I called them to get a breakdown on the amount they said they were "not obligated" to supply me with that information now that a judgment has been served.

I have power of attorney for my son and would like to know what exactly they are making me pay. They want $1,800 a month until the debt is paid. This money is money that he gets for renting out a condo he owns. The mortgage on that property is $2,400/month.

When I explained that to them, they did not care. I told them that the property would go into bankruptcy if I can't send the mortgage payment. They wouldn't listen to me. They argued and said the mortgage wouldn't go into default if I don't pay them. What planet are they living on.

I don't know what to do. I don't have that kind of money. I tried to work out a smaller payment with them. They didn't want to bend. I have no idea what the original credit card amount is and they won't tell me. Now that I have read so much about this company I am getting the idea that they have tacked on fees for themselves.
