After years of dealing with Pressler & Presslers harassment and intimidating debt collecting tactics I had recently attempted to settle due to an unexpected Tax income check received this year. Although they purchased a debt of mine for pennies on the dollar ($6000) debt for under $3500 which were old medical bills combined for the One year I was uninsured due to a Law Enforcement Lay Off in Essex county N.J. They supposedly recorded a call I made atempting to pay this debt now with fees and unecessary sherif fees added periodically adding to over $6500 now and growing.I offered the entire tax refund check in return for a Lift of the LEIN and damage they caused to my credit.Statutes of limitations is also in question. After agreeing to this payment in full on a recorded conversation for ALL the debt I had outstanding with them still thousands OVER the amount they purchased my debt for they asked why I was now motivated to pay them after years of putting it off? I explained I was financially unable and Only recently was expecting this Income Tax refund after years of struggling as a single Father of a 16 year old son who I raised Alone with NO support or help from his mother or anyone for that matter and I wanted to repair the damage caused to my credit due to thier collections tactics. I stated it would be nice to have them stop with the unecessary fees accumulating after years of underemployment and financial struggles raising a son alone . I also stated I one day would like to sell my condo which you have put a LEIN on and also refinance if possible to also help save money and finally get out of the financial struggle I've endured for many years. After stating all that hey then stated well now we see you are very highly motivated to pay off your debt and although we said we would accept the $4500 in total.for all your outstanding accounts ( only 2)totaling approx $6900,we now are refusing this offer and will ONLY accept the full amount which is approx $4000 higher than they paid for the debt.Mostly 7 year old medical service bills purchased and increased significantly. Now they have sent legal papers stating a sheriff officer is going to be allowed in my home with my son and I to Levy aka list all my assets which I assure you are minimal. I recently sold my living room furniture to help pay this month's mortgage and only have a few tvs and clothes. Anything worth anything is my son's that I sacrificed my sweat and blood to purchase him as he is a great well behaved Honor Roll student in his 3Rd year of highschool.

This collection firm has harassed me and caused a great deal of stress and pain for many years of my life continuing to ruin my ability to remove this debt that is killing me.Growing with fees that they continously add and I just can't handle the amounts as I wished.It's a very hurtful immorality sinister intimidating practice that profits from the struggles and financial debt of human beings.It's like the found the civil loopholes around the statute of limitations for medical bills and other bills that have been my demise. I am tortured daily by them and literally get sick when I receive paperwork or calls or notices or my old friends and Co workers from the sheriff department serving notices from Presslers & Pressler. They wonder why My voice cracks and I stutter when speaking with them and I get upset with the fact they are a contributing factor in my struggles to raise my son in a safe home which Hopefully he can own being it's OUR ONLY asset.Our Condo.After the recession the value dropped and after.9 years of paying the high mortgage struggling the value to debt ratio is still not high enough to remove the PMI insurance payment . Pressler & Presslers LEIN on my condo is prohibiting me from being able to refinance and save a lot of money which I wish could be used against any of my outstanding debt.But the debt needs to be satisfied before the LEIN can be lifted and the Thieving bloodsucking Immoraly Bastards at this collection lawfirm have been the most and had the most negative impact on my life. I'm almost 40 years old and have nothing to show for except this Condo and scars from hard Tile labor,law enforcement trauma mental stress endured over the many years I've sacrificed for my son. I just need help. IT'S SAD when you do the right thing for 25 years as a tax paying productive member of society and one moment of losing insurance causes you an enormous amount of debt and someone can purchase that debt for thousands less and even profit and eventually go way above and beyond the original bill amount that was obviously to high to handle over 8 years ago.!!!

Any help or advice ???? After struggling to do right where the courts are all for the Mother when it comes to custody and child support I have seen the corruption and the politics as a single father and as an ex law enforcement officer.I can NOT get any child support from his mother and God knows if she had him I as a MAN would be forced to pay and gladly for His well being.But to be forced to suffer and hurt and constant harassment from debt collection agencies that profit and only KEEP the vicious cycle going round is very very stressful.Painful. This 38 year old pretty tough Single Dad has cried himself to sleep many days weeks and now years over this disgusting Lawfirm.Pressler & Pressler.
