I would caution anyone thinking of doing business with Alex at Prestige 1 Auto in Hollywood FL. Upon contacting Alex to discuss a vehicle he had listed on line I was given false information based on what I received when the vehicle arrived at our shop. The vehicle arrived with several issues, contrary to answers provided when discussed prior to purchase, as well as numerous other issues that I will refer to as Deception by Omission.
After reaching an agreement to settle for a much lower dollar amount than the cost of repairs, Alex refused to follow through and then chose to ignore phone calls, emails, and text messages. He will claim he has to "Discuss with the owner" but thats another of Alex's fabrications as there is nobody else involved in the transactions but him.
Yes - Used cars are As Is purchases and the buyer takes a risk, especially with long distance purchases without inspection.
Yes - Used cars can have hidden issues that the Seller may be unaware of.
Unfortunately the world has become a place where some people will do or say anything to make a buck. Based on my personal opinion and first hand experience with this individual, I would not trust him on any future transactions. People can make thier own decisions and reach thier own conclusions but this is written as a warning to those who think they can trust someone to give them accurate and honest information about a product without personally putting their eyes on it.

So, first of all we have 3 locations and Alex isn't the only one working here and if Alex did promised you to settle your case then he would have asked you to sign a form that says after we settle the matter you will not go around and leave negative feedbacks on any sites. If I remember and thinking of the right customer which I think I do because I cover for Alex and am his right hand he, always makes things right with customers and if he didn't then you probably deserved it. We sell quality used cars and yes they can brake down just as new cars do. But, ask you before you even try winning our cars on eBay call your mechanic and have the car checked out if you haven't done that you still have 3days after taking a possession of your vehicle to return the vehicle if you don't even like the color of it but you have called us weeks or month later coming up with bogus claims and estimates thinking that we will make your car NEW. Sorry but when you spend couple thousand on a used car and buying it at a wholesale value or below wholesale value we can't give you an adjustment so that you will have a free car with new parts installed.
Bottom line is if you are being reasonable then Alex always takes care his customers and doesn't forget about them and doesn't give them the run around that you have written and that is why we have 100% positive feedbacks on our ebay account and you have to remember this folks most of the customers that buy from us don't leave a feedback at all because they are happy with their vehicles so they move on and we don't bother them but I guess one out of a few thousand deals might go wrong and it's only because you were not reasonable. So, please don't bad mouth us we follow up with all our customers!
