I contacted Micah Blehm via a craigslist add looking for amateur male models for his Agency.  After meeting in the office and going over paperwork i was convinced this was the real deal, as i have always been told to attempt modeling. I was initially ok with a monthly (submission/promotion) fee of i believe 25-35 dollars but became concerned when a friend in the acting industry had told me that was very unusual.

After several months of waiting to hear from Mr Blehm on when my photoshoot would take place, we finally settled on a date of feb 28th.  Originally in the initial meeting he wanted to shoot around the first of the year as my hair was still short and he wanted it grown out longer.  I accepted this, but, his lack of communication (viturally NONE) and the montly charges, which became random amounts not agreed upon, being debtited from my bank account started to alarm me.

The photoshoot happens. There is actually 3 males including myself shooting that day. After the shoot, which was very brief, Micah handed me 20 dollars which was extra from all the debits from my account as i was 20 dollars over my photoshoot fee of 375.  I then asked when we could recieve the pictures and the responded with "next tuesday, we will spend the weekend photoshopping them and have them sent out via ups".  I was initially estatic hearing this news.

Flashfoward to the following tuesday and i never received them. Since then, its now May 7th, and i have attempted to contact him multiple times.  Few times he told me some excuse, "weve been working all night on them, I've been out of town", ect.  CURRENTLY he has blocked or changed his phone number, blocked me on facebook so i cant contact him.  I went to the office Where I interviewed in dallas and a man told me Micah doesnt work there anymore.

Hes Owes me at least 375 dollars for my photoshoot, along with maybe an additional 100 for the bogus promotional fees as i never even got a job with him in this entire time.   I believe he is purposly avoiding me.  He has since launched a new website and updated with the pictures of the other two males i shot with that day, Along with many other new models.  He has also been holding casting calls and adding to his model talent.

Micah Blehm is a Scammer!!!  Dont believe something just because you saw it on TV.  Alist my A$$

POSTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012

My name is Hossain Jahani.  I AM slimfigure.   I wanted to clear a few things up as i feel im being attacked through the responses, as well as state all the facts clearly.   Since posting the initial report i received a text message from a brand new cell number from Micah Blehm asking to contact him asap regarding this report.  I called the next day and this is where we are at.

Micah told me on the phone, as well as stated above, that he sent me my photos through an emailed direct link.  I never recieved that email.  Additionally, I check my email on an almost HOURLY basis since my actual job requires constant email correspondence, so there is no way that i over  looked the email.  That includes spam folders.  I might add that the emailed link is not the original delivery method we had agreed on the afternoon of the photoshoot.   I was never informed of said change and dont feel its appropriate to not give any notice, something that i have come to realize thats very common with this company.   I asked him several questions about why i was not able to contact him and he responded with he was in a transitional period of leaving his old position to focus on PMM full time.  I then asked him why he didnt feel the need to tell his talent or employees that he was changing locations, contact information, ect.  He gave me a few excuses.  I then asked him why he blocked me on facebook. since that was my only mode of contact, and although he DID admit that he blocked me, he skirted around  the reason, ultimately ending again with, i was busy with the switch.

I do have all the initial text messages from the past months that show him stating he himself personally was "going through over 2000 images, shop them, then watermark." and that they "should be good to go tomorrow evening"  Those were sent to me on March 23.  I immediately responded saying that it was good news to hear and not to charge me the promotional fees as i didnt feel like i belonged with this company and wanted to just get what i paid for and move on.  I never got a response.  I sent him another text on April 5th ultimately asking for a refund and i never got a response.  All of these conversations are in my phone log and can be viewed at anytime.

I feel like i shouldnt have to defend myself in this situation but the last rebuttal i felt took a shot at my character and i feel that is GROSSLY unnecessary.  To be ABSOLUTELY clear,  I only found the new phone number which i posted on this report within the last week before posting the original report.  During that time Prestige Model Managements Facebook page and the Agencys Website DID NOT have any contact information or address so that is why i was not able to contact him. And the agencys facebook page announced around the end of April that PMM was proud to launch the new website.   Do believe, i exhausted all other options before resulting to this.

To be 100 percent clear, I did not post this report to tarnish Prestige Model Management or Micah Blehm's Image. Im not stupid to bite the hand that could potentially bring me great success.  This was posted Simply to provoke a reaction, Which it did as i received a text message from micah almost immediately.  Im simply looking to rectify a situation where i feel like i have been wronged.  When i was not able to reach him personally i went as far as mention it on Facebook thinking word would get to him and i would be able to get his phone number or have him contact me.  I was even told by a mutual friend he had personally told Micah i was trying to get ahold of him.  I still never heard from him. I also have a copy of that message.  He can tell me all he wants he was not avoiding me, but as far as im concerned i gave him 3 months and Ample time and opportunities to contact me as i had repeatedly told him i had not received my pictures.

As of today, Tuesday 5/15/12, I have only talked to him once.  I was informed he has no problem refunding my photoshoot fee on the terms that this report was removed.  Unfortunately ripoffreport.com does not remove posted Reports.  So he is refusing to Refund me or give me my photos that I HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL FOR FOR OVER 5 MONTHS NOW!!!  He told me on the 9th of may that would talk to his attorney that afternoon and i would hear from him soon.  I called him the day before mothers day and left him a voice mail and still no reply.

If ANYONE would like to talk to me to get anymore information my cell number is (((ROR redacted))).  Additionally i would like to discourage others from replying or getting into this mess as it would only drag you into it in the event this has to become a legal battle, as i feel it will.

I AM COMPLETELY OUTRAGED AT SLANDEROUS POST ABOUT MICAH BLEHM AND PRESTIGE MODEL MANAGEMENT!!!!!

AUTHOR: covergirl90 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, May 12, 2012

I first met Micah Blehm on a charity fashion runway show that he was sponsoring in 2010. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and ability to personalize with not only models but, production assistants, make-up artists, guests, etc.....  After the show I approached him about possibly doing some modeling for his agency. After speaking with him for awhile I was shocked to realize how much he has already accomplished at such a young age!

I have been very cautious about possibly getting back into modeling and have had some bad experience with dishonest people before. BUT, I can honestly say I was AMAZED!!! with how upfront Micah was in the interview, he NEVER promises to make anyone a "supermodel", he simply provides a platform for models that many would die to have. I was signed to the agency and got a call the next day from one of his staff just to welcome me to the Agency and following up on if I had any questions. I was booked a week later on a paid fashion runway show for Bebe. When I went overseas for 6 months for school I let Micah know personally.... he suspended the monthly charge of $35 until I got back, since I was not going to be able to attend the agency courses and workshops he did not want me paying for services I was not receiving. I have booked constant jobs since and he has not taken ONEcommission out of my jobs, stressing the importance of saving the money I make.

"SLIMFIGURE" clearly contradicts himself over and over in his post!! Why would an internet scammer give you a cash refund when he discovered you actually had overpaid on your account?? Also, I know for a fact that he even waives new talent's upfront costs, which I believe was $100.00 (waived mine). Why would someone who is trying to cheat someone out of money do that?? "SLIMFIGURE" says that he couldn't get a hold of Micah but in his original post didn't you put the agency telephone number???  hmmmmm....  I am also a make-up artist and can tell you that $375 for a photo shoot is an amazing deal, as I charge minimally $75.00 per hour and know photo shoots are sometimes very lengthy. Not including the price for photography, wardrobe, hair, staff payroll......

Many people don't know, but he left a very comfortable paying position to dedicate his full attention to his passion working with models!! I know that myself including countless numbers of other models, clients, charities, designers, photographers, etc would COMPLETELY DISAGREE AND BE OUTRAGED AT THIS SLANDEROUS POST!! Anyone lucky enough to have an agency owner that is so driven and passionate about what his company stands for should consider themselves EXTREMELY FORTUNATE!!

URGENT: UPDATE TO INACCURATE REVIEW FOR LISTED AGENCY/OWNER

CONSUMER ALERT-RECENT INACCURATE REVIEW POSTING

RE: Review posted for 'Prestige Model Management/Micah Blehm' by 'slimfigure'

I am currently represented by Prestige Model Management and Mr. Blehm is my agent. I have a number of years of experience in this industry and I am someone who has definitely been taken advantage of in the past by model/talent-related companies claiming to be agencies or something they are not-THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE COMPANIES. My lengthy work experience and professional relationship with Prestige and Mr. Blehm in particular is in no way similar to the description set forth by the above post. I hear from my agent multiple times a week on a consistent basis and was actually very relieved by how upfront and straightforward all communication has been since I joined the organization. By way of example, within the first week of my contract signing, I was booked for at least 5 jobs for multiple clients including an editorial spread in a major publication-this is rare in our industry-and is a direct result of a diligent agent. Further, Mr. Blehm personally read through my contract with me line by line prior to me signing to ensure all expecations and agreements were made clear. I cannot say I know Mr. Blehm on a personal level, but I do believe without a doubt I am qualified to comment on his level of professionalism as well as the validity of PMM's reputation as a whole in response to this recent posting. I do not know the user 'slimfigure,' but I can only guess that his/her review of this organization was submitted in error, as I can personally attest to the integrity and work ethic of its agents.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

In Response To The Following Report

AUTHOR: Prestige Model Management - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 09, 2012

The following talent's images were sent to his personal email on [April 2, 2012 @ 10:47AM] via link to agency shared file server. Prestige Model Management uses a shared file software/server to get images to models/talent/clients to eliminate the need of commuting to and from agency office in Downtown Dallas to retrieve images on disc. This also allows Prestige Model Management to send ALL the images from the photo shoot (400 + large files) through email link, cutting down shipping and material costs for talent.

Original documentation has been forwarded to talent again to show successful delivery from sender on [April 2, 2012]. The additional mentioned model's who participated in photo shoot successfully received images the same day, using the same emailed link. Those images are currently being used on model's media/marketing materials.

Furthermore, Prestige Model Management suspended ANY/ALL applicable agency fees relating to talent's marketing/advertising costs, which was agreed and signed by Talent on [Nov. 19, 2011] per agency contract. Talent's fees were suspended during the transitional period to a newer and more convenient office location. No fee's were assessed or charged during this transitional period to anyone, as primary focus was on the development of more "user-friendly" talent marketing materials, as well as roll-out of new agency website. Additional agency staff  was also hired to accommodate the Prestige's rapid growth. A cash refund was also issued in person, due to the talent overpaying $20.00 for his photo shoot.
