Prestige Sales USA Salesperson from Prestige Admitted he LIES to make sales! Beaumont, Texas Internet

On 3/24/09, two young guys approached my door, thinking it was my neighbor who was to come over, I opened the door. I will NEVER open my door without looking again! (lesson learned) The two young guys were pretty clean cut and told me that they were from our neighborhood. The "lead" guy told me that the other guy was his cousin that was helping him out with his sales. The lead guy, JORDAN WYATT (seems like same guy from other reports) told me that he was from Lamar University and was selling magazines and books to pay for a trip to London where he would intern with the BBC. Being that I had taken a european trip while I was at Lamar, I just took his story as legit. He was VERY, VERY convincing, so much so that I wrote a check for some magazines and books. He is polished and has a true talent for being a con-artist.

His story included such details as "his mom is making him raise money for the trip", he is a "journalism major", a "freshman that had been in the reserves." He even offered to come back and do chores at my house! The other guy with him was relatively quite and seemed just as nice.

Although the selling of products (which are overpriced) may be legit, the manor in which is was done WAS NOT.

After these guys left, for some reason (luckily) doubt sunk in...so I decided to do some research on this company online. I was blessed to find this website...and find out that low and behold that I had been duped by these liars! Luckily, I found these guys (in a safe location!) in the neighborhood and demanded my check and original sales ticket back. JORDAN WYATT explained that the sales were legit and showed my some type of sellers identification with a fingerprint on it. He also ADMITTED that he "lied to make sales" for Prestige Sales USA and that this company actually offers "points" for the sales that are made and that these points can be used towards travel, etc.

After calling the police, JORDAN WYATT gave in and gave me my check back and the sales tickets that had my name, address, and phone number on it. I also scowled him and told him that I was trying to be a nice person and help a student, and that he should truly be ashamed of what he is doing and needed a better line of work. The young guy with him actually apologized and said that Jordan was training him and that he was not going to make sales through lies. Jordan then looked at him rather stern, as if this other guy shouldn't have said that.

I can't believe that I simply fell for these guy's stories hook, line, and sinker.
Again, LESSON LEARNED.

JORDAN WYATT (white male) said that he was 22 years old (which he looks). He is about 5'5" and maybe 130 pounds (skinny), he has acne, and very crooked top front teeth. He was dressed nicely in an Abercrombie t-shirt and plaid shorts. When he saw that I was a UT fan, he showed me a tattoo at the top center of his back, which was the UT LONGHORN in orange ink.

The other guy (white male) never gave his name (I didn't even notice that until later). He was taller than Jordan, maybe about 5'8" or 5'9". He had dark
hair (not-so-groomed) and pale skin. He was dressed in dress shirt (grey) and black pants. When, I approached him later, he was wearing a t-shirt of a metal group called "HIM."
