Preston Lord Enterprises "You will not have to pay for postage stamps." Basking Ridge New Jersey

 Hello Fellow RipOff Users!

I received a mailing today vaguely describing a work at home opportunity by Preston Lord Enterprises. I was interested in the opportunity, but it sounded too good to be true. So I immediately set out to research the validity of their company and claims.

First, I had never heard of this company. Second, I never requested the information. Third, the mailing came with an Application Form requiring a selection of Income Group numbers representing different pay levels and program choices. Fourth, in researching the company only one name prevails "Debra C.". This all concerned me, especially since the only representative of Preston Lord Enterprises uses profanity, name-calling, and degrading statements without making any point in all responses.

Additional points of interests regarding this scam:

1.) No customer service representatives. The 800# available is only a pre-recording stating that they only answer calls from paid customers. From experience, any reputable company has a customer service department with friendly representatives ready to answer questions about all of the products of a company.

2.) Contradictory statements regarding postage costs. In one part of the letter it says, "You will not have to pay for postage stamps." Then immediately after it says,"All postage cost is reimbursable..."

3.) No informational website. All companies that claim to be profitable and successful offer a means of electronic communciation by website. This one doesn't offer anything on the internet to review. No page to go to that holds success stories or anything.

4.) Profane and degrading replies. As I have said before, only one company representative prevails in all of these communications. In regards to any skepticism exercised by any RipOff user, this "Debra C." person immediately profanely attacks these concerned individuals.

5.) No credit card purchasing power. In the era of technology, credit/debit card purchases are the easiest for people who want to invest their time and money into a worthwhile process. This company does not give that option at all! It's cash, check, or money order only. For a reputable, high-processing company it claims to be, that should be a basic.

I would like the opportunity to be real, but so far I found nothing real about the organization. They contacted me and wanted help, according to their mailing. Then, they provide no means of communication for potential investors, or non-paid customers, as I am sure they would be referred. If you have ever been scammed, you know this is a sure-fire way to have it done again. If you haven't ever been scammed, I give you all of the redflags to learn, "buyer beware!"
