Priceline - "Name Your Price" Function For Hotels They don't give you 'real' names. They lie. Internet

Priceline should be avoided. I have booked numerous trips through this company for 2010. So far we showed up to one hotel & was told we did not have a reservation. Thankfully I called for the manger pushing to contact the Better Business Bureau as well as my contacting Priceline. Everyone blamed everyone but us. Eventually we were given a room, after 30 minutes. This week I went on line to a hotel I booked through Priceline for October. Their posted, on line room rate is lower than the so called 'discount' price quoted to me by Priceline. I called Priceline and went over the figures. The person (probably in India) told me I was given a 20% discount like they had posted as the Priceline discount. I carefully repeated the figures, adding & subtracting showing her that her employer/Priceline was charging me more than the posted rate on line with or without their 'reported' discount. I demanded she give me a true 20% discount or cancel my reservation without penalty to me. Under the dishonest circumstance I explained it was honest & fair to credit my credit card cancelling the reservation based on the facts.  She refused to help refusing to credit my credit card but said if I wanted to lose the money she could cancel my reservation. I told her no, that we would use the reservation but I intended to warn anyone who would listen to NOT TRUST NOR DO BUSINESS WITH PRICELINE. Rip-off is my first contact. Watch out and never do business with Priceline is my sincere advise.
