In October 30 we went to a presentation in Cancun while on vacation at our time share (Mayan Palace). We were sold by the reps for Prime Alliance Holdings that they would purchase our time share for $42,000 and another one we owned VRI for $25,000. We had to put up $16,400 of our money to get it started and the reps would put up a matching amount. A buyer would purchase and we would get 210 weeks of vacation at Amadeus vacations and the $67000 sale proceeds.
We had to wire transfer $900 to get a title search completed. We got home and waited 30 days as advised for title search. We waited through holidays. Monday January 2 we were informed that a buyer would be processing the paperwork. Jessica Rossi our agent at Prime Alliance sent this in an email. I called to verify how she said in payments or cash. we were never informed about payments. we were never contacted about details during the waiting period. I was alarmed when I found other rip off reports and decided to write my own. We are still waiting to see if next Monday we get our payments back. Most unlikly. So far the title is clear and we still have no refund of our money or details of how this will be resolved.

Prime Alliance Holdings/Amadeus Vacations - ripoff

I too was taken in by Vacations Los Cabos (VCR) operating out of the Portofino Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. vcr agreed to buy my ownership at pueblo bonito resorts - $35,000 plus a free membership to amadeus vacations. both were said to be american companies - prime alliance in cleveland ohio and amadeus vacations in towson maryland. neither are registered with the secretary of states. what happen was - i was asked to pay a 16% sales tax and a $650 closing cost - nothing more. the sale had to go through thier escrow agent - prime allaince holdings. Jessica rossi told me that I owed an additional $999 before the process would start and would give no information about the buyer, james hernandez. the buyer did not have to sign the contract or put any earnest money down - strange?? I know now that the 16% sales tax I paid was transferred to Amadeus Vacations for a membership and commissions to Vacations Los Cabos and nothing was transferred to prime alliance holdings who is demanding that I pay the additional $999. Both prime alliance and amadeus are connected through the Kelly/Coppel empire in Mexico. Check with the BBB (OH and MD) about what they found out. James Hernandez, buyer, does not exist. in fact, what prime alliance is doing is marketing your property on Ebay and other sites until, maybe, they get a buyer. Then it will be for a less than agreed to value and they will re-negociate and take an additional commission. It is a scam. Don't sign anything is even slightly different in wording than what is orally said.
