PRIME LINE DIGITAL : KEVIN PICKENS : BEN MAYCOCK : CARRIE HOWARD ( Nice Lady but managed by the others)

Prime Line Digital is a startup business which began its market exposure March 1, 2015. It is the creation of Kevin Pickens and Ben Maycock formerly of Smart Reach Digital where Kevin Pickens was fired and Ben Maycock left to start Prime Line Digital although each was breaking a non-compete clause in their contract with Smart Reach Didital.

Kevin Pickens reached out to me by intercepting my resume I was sending to Ben Maycock who was a Sales Manager with Smart Reach Digital in an attempt to become part of the SRD Team. I continued reaching out to Ben Maycock to secure an interview. All my attempts went unanswered even though I had a close friend employed there. inwas contacted by Kevin Pickens who lied and said he pulled my info from LinkedIn and we began correspondence and discussion about teaming together to get Prime Line Digital into major markets throughout the Southeast.  We agreed on compensation as an Independant Contractor with 90 Days of a draw of $750. Each draw would be paid on Friday and no payback of draw was expected until after 90 Days when we would have opportunity to hire, train and develop an Atlanta based sales team.

I began work the week prior to my actual start date to get a jump on recruiting. This week I worked without pay. I was given specific instruction to use LinkedIn to find candidates who fit our business model. After 2 weeks of research on LinkedIn as instructed I was given a log in for Indeed.com, a recruiting site and said to begin researching from Indeed. I agreed but had some candidates I had found the previous week from LinkedIn I was having success with and while working through indeed I worked through my LinkedIn list. They had no contact with me, no direction, no training to this point but I had several good candidates I was working thru the process. I received my 1st draw check handwritten from an Obscure bank out of Greenville, SC. We began week 2 as we had week 1 with none of the 3 of us having any real success of hiring for any of the areas we were recruiting for and from Memphis, Tampa, Atlanta, Greenville.

Kevin Pickens called mid week and said he'd like me to come in the office the following week for training. I was excited to finally be training on our inventory. Friday morning, Good Friday, I received an email from Kevin Pickens that my check had been stopped, which I took as they caught it in the mail, and they were parting ways with no Training. Originally, my check was supposedly sent UPS NDA Thursday to arrive on Friday. I spoke with Ben Maycock throughout the day where he admitted they did not handle this the right way and wanted to know what they could do to make it right. I said just pay me my last check and we could part ways. When the check did not arrive I assumed Kevin Pickens was true to his word and stopped the check. I called Ben Maycock Furious at this point and said I expected the check to be delivered Monday and we would part ways. Monday the check was delivered by UPS and I assumed they decided to make this right and now we would part ways. During the day on Monday they stopped payment on the check and because I had not moved my bank from Savannah where I recently left I had a friend deposit in here account and it bounced causing catastrophic consequences with her account AND her relationship with her bank. This has strained our relationship and had longterm negative affects on her finances.

kevin Pickens and Ben Maycock used me to schedule interviews for Ben Maycock to run while I was in training. I had 10 scheduled and obviously their money ran out. I know they lead me to work for them the second week kniwing they were parting ways and stopping payment thinking that was the end of it. kevin Pickens and Ben Maycock are very smooth talking guts with Kevin Pickens having years of unethical business practices. I am compiling a list of individuals who have seen both Kevin Pickens AND Ben Maycock create some very unethical and unscrupulous business practices.

I WARN EACH OF YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GROUP. Carrie Howard is a nice lady working for that team but she doesnt make mgmt decisions. She will probably phone screen you for Kevin Pickens and Ben Maycock to use you in their latest business scam.

There are many within this industry, my suggestion is find another to sell to your clients.
