Prime One Financial ripoff New York New York

I too was contacted at my place of employment (which is a financial institute) by Richard Chris (a representative of Prime One Financial) who stated that I was chosen for this special offer to receive a mastercard at a 9.9% interest rate, along with a host of other benefits.

He stated the financial institute that I work for as well as Bank of America provided them with my information and they would like to help improve my credit rating. Since I work for the bank and I received the call at work, I actually believed that this offer was legit. Once I had given them my checking account number and Ann Marie called back to verify my information, I became a little suspicious and looked Prime One Financial up on the internet. That's when I saw that this company was scamming people. I placed a call to Prime One Financial's customer service line and the first rep. hung up on me when I asked to cancel my card. I called again and spoke with another rep., who stated that she would cancel my card. I then contacted the bank and completely closed my checking account.

To my understanding even if you have cancelled with the company, they can still debit your account and there is no way for the bank to stop a debit. Thank you everyone that has been scammed by this company for making the responsible decision to report this company and post complaints on the web.
