Prime Source Autos is among the worst kind of mom and pop/ buy here pay here place there is. Unfortunately they scammed my girlfriend and I for $200. We test drove a vehicle and liked it, we asked for a car fax but they gave us some kind of condensed report that did not show any details. We put a $200 deposit on the vehicle in good faith that it was not a lemon and they told us we had an 8-day grace period to complete the sale or get our money back. Once we got home we paid for our own car fax and found out that this vehicle has had 7 owners, TOTALED once, and WRECKED another time. Prime Source Autos did not disclose any of this to us. When I called them to get the deposit back they refused, claiming it’s not refundable. Since we can’t afford to pursue them in court, I’m exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech and spreading the word about this company. They should not steal money from people by trying to sell lemons. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Paul Meyung of Prime Source Autos; you stole money from a young couple; a military and college student couple, trying to start their lives together. To the public I say we learned a hard lesson, and STAY AWAY FROM PRIME SOURCE AUTOS!!

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Statement From Owner

The comments from this person are completely untrue and false. This car was never totaled and had a clean title. Primesource Autos has been selling cars in the Orange Park and Jacksonville Florida area for twelve years and has never had a complaint against us. This person didn't have the courtesy to let us know they had bought a car somewhere else and only got upset after asking for a clearly stated non refundable deposit. Primesource Autos has a very good reputation and our years in business speaks for itself.

Prime Source Autos, in my opinion is among the worst kind of mom & pop/ buy here pay here place there is. Unfortunately I believe they scammed my girlfriend and I for $200. We test drove a vehicle and thought we liked it, we asked for a car fax but I believe they gave us what seemed like some kind of condensed report that did not show any details. We put a $200 deposit on the vehicle in good faith that it was not a lemon and it was my understanding we had 8-day grace period to complete the sale or get our money back. Once we got home we paid for our own car fax and found out that this vehicle has had 7 owners, TOTALED once, and WRECKED another time. Prime Source Autos did not disclose any of this to us. When I called them to get the deposit back, they refused, claiming it's not refundable. Unfortunately this is conspicuously stated in the written agreement, but I believed we were on the understanding there was an 8 day grace period to get our money back. Weather what they did is legal or not I is debatable but I still believe its bad business. I’m exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech and spreading my opinion about the company, which is protected by the Constitution. My intentions are not to slander anyone’s name but to inform the public of my opinion and say we learned a hard lesson, and I believe you should STAY AWAY FROM PRIME SOURCE AUTOS!!
