I had a contract for $775.00 for a e bedroom house to be moved from Fort Myers Beach FL.To Clearwater FL. 2 and a1/2 hour move. Once the truck was loaded I thought they were on their way to the new house. I got a call and demanded $ 4285. 00 telling me it was a Ballance. If not they would hold my stuff in storage. Then I would have to drive to Miami and pay for storage and an additional charge for $825.00 for delivery. . Called the office and was told that this has to be paid. Did some research later. There is no company at the address. They do not have a license to move . Right not I turned it in to the police and they are working on it. A lot of my stuff was dammaged I see that I am not the only one that this has happened to. If we all join forces we can get some satisfaction. jimbosley2005@gmail.com.
