Primrose School, Primrose Schools at Lakewood Ranch Towncenter No written or verbal notice for dismisal Christmas and New Year break. 28 Students in one small class room, Internet

On Wednesday December 22, 2010 around 3:30 4:00pm. I recieved a call from Sharon Frank (owner of Primrose School) saying that I needed to take advantage of the holiday break to find another school. After asking for a reason why, Sharon said that we were not allowed at the school any longer. I then again asked why. She would not give me a reason, so I requested my daughters file.

This was unprofessional and left my husband and I in a very difficult situation since we both had to work for the next two days before Christmas and all schools were closed the following week. I was unable to find a school for my daughter and was without child care for my 5 year old.

My daughter has been attending Primrose School of Lakewood for three years and a month. She is in the 97 percentile of her class. When we had our teacher conference in November of 2010. The teacher said our daughter was a pleasure to have in class and enjoyed her enthusiasum. Mrs. Artimek did ask that we talk to her about using kinder words. Instead of "give me that" say "may I please have that".

My husband and I feel that we had been asked to leave because everytime we went into the class room, the teacher was not in control of the class becuase there are 28 students in the small room.After we addressed our concern for the 2nd time Sharon got very mad and said that "it's fine"!! She was very unpleasant and rude, loud and nasty. The following week we were then asked to leave and not come back.

This is not a retaliatory action because we are upset, it is to notify potential parents of how unstable and unpredicable Sharon Frank is and that she left us in a very difficult situation.

I have heard on a number of occassions that her staff is affraid of her and she will tell them what to say or do and threaten their jobs.In this economy jobs are sacred.
