It is funny how all of these complaints have the same sequence of events.

1) the big pitch by milgroom and how you deserve your dream job
2) the tests by jeff and the lag time for resumes.....
3) the non answering of messages from jeff with the same excuses
4) the no follow through after money has gone to them

here is the letter i got from Robert....Now does this sound like a man who took a client on who had "the credentials employers were looking for".....

Following is my response. Now i am NOT TELLING ANYONE NOT TO DO BIZ WITH HIM but is this the type of person you want going to bat for you who spent the previous months telling you how GREAT YOU ARE,,,,

My questions are this...
1) what changed about me made me unqualified?
2) if you are the so called expert then how could you represent someone so unqualified?

Dear Paul,

It's unfortunate that your disappointment in being rejected by the Florida
business community has spilled over in to an angry, and in my opinion,
professionally self destructive action plan. It appears that we now have
two basic courses of action available to each of us.

I certainly recommend Plan A as the best alternative for both of us and am
also fully committed to Plan B if necessary.

Plan A: We continue to hammer away at the Ct. and New England business
community and concentrate on the numerous head hunters within our network.
You remain one communication away from placement success. We will continue
to support your efforts in this regard.

Plan B: You launch your attack on my company and/or staff. If so, I
personally guarantee you a massive direct contact and internet campaign
that will bring your name and story into the annals of cyber legend for
eternity. You will not attack with impunity. Should any of your activities
be deemed actionable by legal counsel, your attempts to get even may well
become very expensive.

You are a funny guy.

I am an entrepreneur who has an impeccable record of integrity. I tell it like it is and that bothers you. You do what you like my friend.

Were those not the words you used when we spoke? Yes they were.

What i write will be non-opinion. Sheer facts.

Your first line of your e-mail says it all. That I was rejected by the Florida business community. When in fact your presentation of me was rejected. Now that i have this in writing i appreciate it more because now it reaffirms that your previous excuse of economy in the toilet was not true. It further validates according to you that i was NOT STRONG enough (now) to warrant a job offer. Which is Robert? IS it the economy? Is it me? and if it is me then your expert eye is not so good or you just wanted the $$$? Think that over friend. Either way it makes no sense. 2 weeks ago i was a strong candidate in a bad market. now i am rejected by the florida business community. Which one Robert??? Were you lying about the economy or my skills? 1 or the other has to be true? Or are you just the angry guy lashing out to try to intimidate me?

I could care less what you write because it is apparent that y ou are angry and slanted. You are a man who seems to have a big ego and a small backbone. You are a tough guy when you can hit.....yet you can not take getting hit back. (verbally of course...ha ha)

What i have written is not opinion nor have i instructed anybody to not do business....just my experience. all perfectly legal.....not libelous. and you know that. I am not on some tirade to get you back....I have made piece with the lousy 6k. However, i do not believe the service i received or lack thereof i received was commenserate. That is why i said i wanted 2k to part ways. That is besides the point now. I made a mistake in hiring you as it appears many others who have filed complaints feel as well. The themes were all eerily similar. I am only adding my experience so the next lugnut can weight the facts. Just like a restaurant review. I do not lie and i never have in my life. I am of the school that my word is still good. Whether it is in my favor or not. So you need not worry that i am going after you. this is not about you robert even though you think it is. It is about the next wide eyed guy who you say "I WILL EXPOSE YOU TO THINGS YOU COULDN"T DO ON YOUR OWN"...to let him make an educated decision. Rule #1 in sales or business.....it is not about you and your greatness....it is about the clients needs.

Also do you think it pruden t and congruant to have a subtitle about your excellent service when you do not return calls or e-mails for 3 weeks. This has always been my issue with you.

I have the same theme.....and if you did not have such a huge ego you could have solved this with me being happy even without any calls from employers. Get past your anger and be honest here. Do i have a legit gripe? If you were in my shoes would you have liked it? You strike me as a type of guy who would verbally abuse a waitress for a steak being overcooked so i would think you would have something to say.

#1 - communication communication communication!!!!!! look how happy my e-mails were when jeff got back to me promptly (good or bad news) in a timely fashion
***like i said clients want to be kept abreast of conditions...a monthly "hey paul economy sucks we are still on top of it would have gone a long way.....You would know this if you read my e-mails...

**yet you come in grab my resume...look at it....and say "this makes you look like a small time player....mickey-mouse" and hand it to me....I did not write that....you guys did....and why can't you see that after 6 months and a MMouse resume i would be a little upset....but i walked out of there saying, "great guys...we aired our problems and we are moving ahead"....but that comment made me question who the hell i hired....You supposedly are the best yet are selling me as SMALL TIME....please please let me know how i should have taken it.
i.e. If you were told by a chef you were getting the best cut of beef you ever ate and he brings out a big mac you would not be pleased.

**** so when my next contact with you is being told i should be PAINFULLY AWARE is condescending.....also that i should pick the industry when in fact Jeff said your research dept was doing that....and the med device contacts YOU said you had was never even acted on...

Why don't you see this would upset someone??? You are like the genius who has no common sense. You lack understanding from a clients perspective.......If you did have this sense you would have remedied this with follow up that showed you cared, not your arrogant comments. ****this is the behavior that prompted me to detail each e-mail what you said when i sat down in your office the first day.

Also I do not see this to be professionally self-destructive. Are you kidding me? Are you Don Corleone or something? I've had some nice offers and 1 today in Tampa/St. Pete so the far reaching arm of Robert Milgroom is over-rated.

I also am none too pleased that you have threatened to harm me either. I am an honest person robert and think long and hard before i open my mouth and am also honest enough with myself to reflect and think, "where was i maybe wrong" and i really do not see it. It is as simple as this. I told you what i needed to be happy....open communication. You gave it to me for 1 week. Then it was back to the old ways of not answering e-mails etc.

Was the lack of communication really worth it? Or do you just get off on being top dog and trying to jamm your way down peoples throats. Every time i went to talk yesterday you had to preface it with a wise comment. Like you are better than everyone. Think about it Robert. In your eyes you may appear successful, but the way you treat people tells the real story.

It is amazing you are so quick to ruin the reputations of possible decent people or not, yet you hide as being anonymous? This either means you are a liar, a fake or a competitor. If you were so indignant you would use you the "law degree" you have to pursue actions if what you said is true. You would also give your name so that they could rebut, contradict or confirm your claims. You may also want to use your law degree to look up the definition of slander and realize you are guilt of it. SO either be a man or shut up.

I find these postings to be amusing - people say how they are outraged and they name people thereby affecting their reputations - they may be good people or not, but you prohibit them from disputing or verifying your claims. Since you mention jail you may want to look up the definition for slander and see that you are indeed guilty of that. If you are so outraged post your real name otherwise you are a liar.
