In early October Principal Financial Group suspended moving assets from their Real Estate 401K fund. They e-mailed investors at 9:00pm for that move they made at midnight that same night -- obviously the short notice and timing prevented anyone not online in that short timeframe from being able to react before they blocked any future moves.

If you're considering investing with Principal, please be forewarned about their unethical practices.
