This post was brought to my attention by one of my customers and after reading it, I definitely need to set the record straight here. 
I think it's imperative that I address these blatant, viscous lies and expose the reasoning for the authors continued anonymity.

 
My name is Jason, and I'm the proprietor of Prism Window Cleaning Professionals, Inc. For those of you who already know me, thank you for standing up and speaking out against this man's slander of my character. I appreciate you all. For those of you who are seeing this for the first time, thank you for taking the time to read further. 

I feel obliged to start from the beginning, addressing the relationship I once had with the person who has harbored animosity and bitterness towards me for the last 10 years. Yes, that's how far back this goes. 
Before I knew anything about windows, I was a paralegal at my father's lawfirm Carro, Carro, and Velez. I commuted daily to one of our two offices on 5th Avenue and Park Avenue.

 
A little over 10 years ago, my mother was involved in a major car accident which left her incapacitated and her best friend paralized. Being that I was the youngest in the family, the responsibility for her care fell to me, and I eagerly committed myself to her recovery. 

I no longer commuted to work. My mother's care was my full time job. I cooked for her, I bathed her, I accompanied her. It was a long and tedious process. 

She eventually gained more mobility and was able to use a walker. It allowed me to get out of the house for longer periods of time.

I enrolled in RCC's paralegal studies so I could stay abreast of the law, it's statutes, and it's precedents. I needed to continue being relevant in my field of expertise.

After the second year of caring for my mother, I needed to address my finances. My savings was dwindling. I still could not be far from my mother, so I applied for local, service type work. That was when I met Mr.K from Mr.K's window cleaning.

 
He initially thought I was overqualified, but I assured him that I wasn't looking to make a career out of it. I truly believed that at the time. 
During my training, he informed me of his desire to enter real estate, as he was preparing for his exam in Albany. Fortunately, as part of my curriculum, I had just completed courses in real estate law at RCC. I prepped him thoroughly as he trained me on glass. 

In a short time, I mastered the required techniques. My proficiency in performing every task asked of me, combined with my degree in Management Specialty (a business administration degree with emphasis in logistics), let me learn his business inside and out. Mr.K (Ken) passed his exam, made me foreman, and left me to manage his business while he explored real estate. 

Our first few disagreements revolved around the workers he had me find and train to make up for his absence.

 He instructed me to find workers on route 59 willing to work for $10 an hour cash. I thought that was a bad idea, for many reasons. I have nothing against day laborers. What concerned me was that we didn't know who they were. They never had ID. They were illegal immigrants. They never stayed! And there were many. 

It wasn't long till one new hire ran out of a job with the home owner's valuables. We had no recourse. Mr. K was livid! I didn't want to say I told you. Moving forward, we stopped picking up guys from Route 59. 

Needless to say, work slowed down even more without additional help. 

Then while on a job one day, a cost conscious customer confronted me about the additional work being done without her permission and it's cost. 
I had no clue what she was referring to. I had the guys follow our work order to the letter. Nothing additional was done. She went on to say that we charged her for acid treatment without consulting her. She said that Mr.K called her and said that his FOREMAN told him that we had to use acid on the hard water stains and increased her bill by $200. 
She was ready to rip my head off! 

I asked her to please calm down and let me speak with Ken. 
When I reiterated what happened to Ken, he told me to go along with it! That he needed to make up for our taking so long to complete our work! 
I was angered by him putting me in this position with a customer. I felt used! Ken then acted like I was being a hindrance to him and wanted a part of his illegal profit. He asked me if it was about money...how much did I want. I couldn't believe what he was saying! It's not about money. It's about ethics and values! It's about honesty and integrity! We argued this. The argument ended with him ultimately relenting and saying I was right, and that it wouldn't happen again. I let it go. 
It happened again. 

After the second time, I told him that if he uses me in his scheme again, he will not like my response. At this point he was just yessing me to shut me up.

 
Well, guess what happened next. 
My last day working for Ken was at Beth Chamberlin's home (the actress on tvs soap opera The Guiding Light). 
Ken was looking to make a quick profit and I revealed the truth to her. 
Beth's husband had it out with Ken. 
The next day, Ken wouldn't talk to me. He hired someone new, and I was to train him in everything I knew. I told Ken to train him himself. I quit. 

Within 2 weeks, I made a commitment. Against my family's wishes, I bought a truck, equipment, insurance, and incorporated. And YES I have insurance. My first customer was Beth Chamberlin. I finished the job by myself and she paid me everything she didn't pay Ken. She recommended me to her friends who I still service till this day. 

It didn't take long for Ken to start accusing me of betraying him. 
Then it became me stealing his customers. 
Then it became me stealing his workers.  *They quit on him.
He began stealing my signs. 
   *He was caught on security cameras at Lou Graziano's property in Stony      Point, and on Ms. Smith's property in West Nyack

Then to the neighbor of Kathy Hilderbrand in Blauvelt, he told insidious lies saying that it was my company responsible for the death of a New City woman who was killed by a laborer who was working on her home. Everyone remembers that tragedy. For Ken to use it to slander me highlights his insensitivity to the victims family more than to me.

I wasn't hired. The neighbor told Kathy what Ken told her, and Kathy immediately called me to inform me of Ken's slander. 

There are many stories he has told. I've heard it all.
The latest being that I am a murderer. Absolutely untrue and insane! 
Because of these blatant and willful acts to damage my business earnings, to assassinate, defame, and slander my character, we have a pending lawsuit against Mr. Ken Karlewiscz. And it's a strong one.

Now he has taken to ANONYMOUSLY posting his lies online. 
I have so much evidence, from sworn affidavits from customers, to eye witnesses, and video footage of his son Eric attempting to assault me in a pizzeria in West Nyack, Mr. K's will soon be Mr. J's. 

Meanwhile when Ken sees me, he claims that he no longer harbors resentment towards me...that his HATE for me doesn't hurt the one he hates but only himself. My workers witnessed this and looked around at each other in disbelief.
His arrogance blows my mind. Yet still, I shook his hand and accepted his newfound resolution to live and let live. It was shortlived obviously.

I won't say false things about anyone. But what I will say is that Ken is very dishonest, arrogant, confrontational, and has severe anger management issues. After more than 10 years, he STILL obsesses and harbors deep rooted resentment towards me. Move on already. I have.

Lastly, I will say that Ken cannot provide one person to say I've taken anything from their home. NOT ONE! 

There has never been a single complaint about me from anyone while I was under his employ! Rest assured, if one of my employees ever stole a single penny from a customer, I would turn them over to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law! 

I've been in business for over 10 years now. I'm a devoted husband, a loving father to a beautiful 18 month old baby girl, and a fearless firefighter. I have never done a dishonest job and NEVER had anything missing from a customers home. 

To the contrary, Mr. K has numerous police reports against him and his company for theft.
