Pritchard Wilson Good company gone rotten Livonia Michigan

Pritchard and Wilson had installed and maintained heating and cooling equipment in my house for a number of years, and I thought of them as a reliable company, so when I moved to a condo that needed serious renovations I hired them to install a new furnace, air conditioner and water heater.

Several months later my condo association called to ask me to submit copies of the permits Pritchard Wilson had gotten from the city to do the work. I checked with the city--no permits. I checked with Pritchard Wilson--no response.

I asked the city what to do. They said ask Pritchard Wilson to apply retroactively for the permits. I asked Pritchard Wilson, twice, very politely, to apply for the permits. No response.

So now here's my situation:

1) I am liable to pay penalties to my condo association for having work done without permits.

2) I can't get the city to inspect the work Pritchard Wilson did for me.

Oh yeah, and according to my condo association Pritchard Wilson did $500+ worth of damage to the roof during the installation, which I have to pay for.

Why, after years of trouble-free service, is Pritchard Wilson now engaging in behavior that is in effect daring me to sue them? I can only guess. All I can say is, do not use this company under any circumstances. They have gone rotten.
