I also signed up for this free trial. After following the instructions to "instantly" get my free credit report, I was notified to contact Trans Union in order to obtain my report. Trans Union ironically offers the same credit report/credit monitoring service.

A day after signing up with Privacy Protection Plus, my once clean and spamless e-mail address was suddenly inundated with spam from pornography to pill pushers. I had to cancel this e-mail address after just a few days because of this. Prior to signing up with Privacy Protection Plus, I never recieved a single spam e-mail on this account. I always checked with a company's privacy policy prior to giving out my e-mail address. Imagine that, a company who deals with privacy, selling e-mail addresses out to just about anyone!
