Please stay away from PrivateMoneyGoldmine.com. This website lists the names and email addresses of so-called private money lenders, and the amounts they will lend in a particular area. When you contact a lender, you'll receive an email to ask for basic information, including how much you need.
The person may even send you a document to sign and send back. But when you call this person, or they call you, it's a foreign speaker (with an African, or Afro-Caribbean accent) and they'll ask for money upfront for fees or insurance, while promising you'll get the money funding.
Red Flags: They want you to wire the upfront money to them before they release the funds.
Please DO NOT do this. You will NEVER get funded and you will NEVER get your money refunded.
This happened to me, and I want to warn everyone to just stay away from PrivateMoneyGoldmine.com
In particular, there is a so-called lender named "David R. Ashton" who is a partner in crime with Vanquis.com. These are scam artiists, con artists and out right liars, who will steal your money. Stay away from these creeps!!

100% Scammers Run Rampant

I have used MyHouseDeals.com and PrivateMoneyGoldmine. They are both connected, affiliated, or ran by the same team. Although the company or affiliates suggests for people to do their due diligence, there is common understanding where when people are going to the site to generally 'expect' it is not filled with scammers. I have found nothing but scammers on the site with those who claim to be private lenders misrepresenting this purposely.
Let me make something clear though, MyHouseDeals.com has a lot if not the same data on the website regarding private lenders and hard money lenders along with people who post real estate deals, contractors information, and so forth.
MyHouseDeals.com has this additional information to more than likely distract from the embedded scam, which runs rampant on its site. If not, then shut that part of the site down! You can have false accounts and interviews created on MyHouseDeals.com, PrivateMoneyGoldmine, newsletters, and through emails, to say that people were successful, but that would be far from the truth. I once called everyone on that site and found none to be legit. Furthermore, they as the first person stated asked for money first and application fees to be wired.
We are done with the "do the due diligence swindle." No, you want to have a reputable company and value your visitors and and subscribers, then get rid of what is not working successfully. Your response to my message will only to be to circumvent around the fact that it needs to be eliminated. Have you contacted the people who assume they are 100% private lenders? You will not have the time to do so. And you have not made the site for that. However, you do collect for people paying money for that part of the site/service. Therefore, you are practicing unfairly in the commercial construct where there are shysters with computers using alternating IPs and emails to scam people and pay you money in offshore accounts. If you disagree, fix it or end it! No excuses. Be responsible and reputable and stop with the non sense and excuses of why you feel you are not ripping people off because of "do your due diligence." Anyone can easily expose the sites by making a record of each call and uploading it here. I am here on Ripoff Report because I believe in what they stand for. I am ready for MyHouseDeals and PrivateGoldmine to weasel out of it.

We regret you had a negative experience while dealing with one of the private lenders listed on our website.
Our vision is for PrivateMoneyGoldmine to be the marketplace where real estate investors looking for funding can connect with private lenders looking to lend money. As we see it, this is a win-win relationship: investors get the funds they need to close on deals and private lenders get a better return on their money than they would get by investing in CDs, money markets, or even stocks.
Because we are a marketplace, the information you'll find on the website is user-generated. This means that we are not affiliated with the lenders or investors on the website, and we do not verify funds or monitor any transactions. We try to be very clear about this anytime someone joins the website and continually remind our members to do their own due dilligence every opportunity we get.
As a borrower, you want to make sure you are dealing with a lender you can trust. Someone with favorable terms, a professional demeanor, and transaparent in their negotiation. For this reason, we advise our members to stay away from lenders who demand upfront fees or make unreasonable requests before the loan is funded.
As a lender, you want to verify that you are dealing with honest, credible investors who have relevant experience doing similar deals and can present a clear plan for utilizing the borrowed funds and re-paying the loan. It's also important that lenders look at the deal they are funding to ensure the property in question can serve as proper collateral for the loan.
Above are just some of the factors to consider when browsing on our site. It saddens us to hear that you reached out to someone who took advantage of you by charging fees and making false representations. We encourage you to report the individual to your local authorities and work with your bank to recover the funds. We are available to help in this process however we can.
Since receiving your report, we have banned this lender from the website. We have also launched an aggressive initiative to prevent any individuals with bad intention from being able to use our service. We also count on our members to report improper or fraudulent behavior. With that, we have a better service that we hope acheives its goals of helping the real estate investing community flourish.
Should you have additional questions or suggestions, please contact us at support@privatemoneygoldmine.com. Again, we are sorry that you had a negative experience and hope that this one occurrance won't deter you from pursuing your entrepreneurial goals.
