Ordered book via amazon.com and when it hadn't arrived contacted the seller via email and received a prompt reply advising me that it had been shipped via USPS and to contact them again if it hadn't arrived after 21 days.
I became suspicious as I live in the same State, and didn't think it would take the USPS that long. So I googled Pro Quo Book and found numerous ripoff reports concerning this company.
One of those reports contained their latest cell phone number (443) 957-1321. The company must not have a land line as I have been unable to find one.
When I attempted to contact them during normal business hours, all of their answering machine options transfer to a waiting period and then to a " We are unavailable" message.
I then tried to register a complaint with Amazon about this purchase but their web page would not accept the complaint however I have sent them an email outlining the complaint
A search of www.baltimore.bbb.org indicates that Pro Quo Books is not a BBB accredited business. MD BBB has processed only one report against this company in the last 36 months.
I highly recommend anyone having similar problems with this company to register a complaint with the Baltimore BBB.
Pro Quo Books is also selling on www.abebooks.com and possibly other online book outlets.
