I went to these people to have them prepare a bankruptcy on September 14th, their site claims it will be done in 48 hours! That's lie number one! Mine didn't get done until 31 days later! Then he claimed that it was mailed out via priority 2 day with the USPS on Saturday October 8th when in fact it was not mailed out until 4pm on Wednesday October 12th according to the confimation slip, that was lie number 2! I didn't recieved the package until 10:30 am and had to have it filed by 4pm that afternoon so I didn't have a chance to read it or copy it. I also requested him to send me an overnight copy in case it was lost in the mail as he lead me to believe it was mailed on Saturday and by Thursday I still hadn't received it.
Now he refuses to give me the tracking number so that I can pick it up. I have no way of checking the accuracy of my documents which I paid him for! Don't use these people, very, very unprofessional and don't care about anything but getting your money and will continuously lie to you! I have emails with his "attitude" to back up what I'm claming. I also have a witness to his unprofessional behaviour on more than one occasion.
They claim to be members of the American Association of Independent Paralegals, the National Association of Independent Paralegals and The National Association of Legal assistants. The first two I couldn't even find any records of and the last one does not show them as a member. Do we see a pattern of lies here?! The website looks like it was built by an amature, the images are poor quality and there are spelling errors and typos. This has taught me to seriously check into backgrounds before dealing with any online organization as you just can't judge a book by it's cover! Be careful who you deal with!

AND I THINK YOU HAD TWO YEARS TO REPORT THEM TO THE BAR ASSOCIATION IN YOUR STATE OR THE STATE WHERE THEY WERE LOCATED.
I DON'T KNOW IF YOUR COUNTY HAS A COUNTY LAW LIBRARY, BUT WE USUALLY DO IN TEXAS AND YOU MIGHT HAVE FOUND A PRACTICE MANUAL THAT TELLS LAWYERS WHAT FORMS THEY WILL NEED TO FILE FOR WHAT TYPE OF CASE AND IN WHICH TYPE OF COURT AND IN WHAT ORDER.
THEN, THERE ARE OTHER BOOKS THAT CONTAIN THE FORMS. BANKRUPTY IS FILED IN A FEDERAL BANKRUPTCY COURT. I WOULD HAVE CALLED OVER THERE OR LOOKED ON THE INTERNET FOR "RULES OF COURT" WHICH IS WHAT THE PRESIDING JUDGE CONSIDERED ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR AND DRESS IN HIS OR HER COURT.
FOLLOWING ME SO FAR, OR ARE YOU CONFUSED?
YOU DID KNOW THAT PRO SE MEANS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE REPRESENTING YOURSELF?
I HOPE YOU ARE A CPA OR HAVE ONE IN YOUR FAMILY.
HE WHO REPRESENTS HIMSELF HAS A FOOL FOR A CLIENT --AND I THINK THIS IS VERY TRUE IN BANKRUPTCY LAW. THERE ARE MORE WAYS AN INEXPERIENCED PERSON CAN MESS UP THAT YOU WOULD EVER KNOW...
YOU REALLY NEED A LAWYER FOR THIS.
MAYBE THESE TWO JOKERS WHO PRETENDED TO BE PARALEGALS DIDN'T SEND YOU THE DOCUMENTS BECAUSE THEY KNEW IF THEY DID, THEY COULD BE SUED FOR PRACTICING LAW WITHOUT A LICENSE WHICH IS A CRIME HERE IN TEXAS. ALSO, PARALEGALS ARE ONLY SUPPOSED TO PREPARE DOCUMENTS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF AN ATTORNEY WHO IS LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN THE STATE IN WHICH YOU LIVE. UH OH.
I KNOW IT IS A FEDERAL MATTER BUT ....
YOU CAN NOT GO ON THE CHEAP IN A BANKRUPTCY MATTER.
COME TO THINK ABOUT IT, I DON'T KNOW VERY MANY STATES THAT REQUIRE PARALEGALS TO BE CERTIFIED AND IN THE OTHER STATES, JUST ABOUT ANYONE CAN CLAIM TO BE ONE.
YOU DO HAVE A RECOURSE AGAINST THOSE PEOPLE, YOU KNOW.
