I called this locksmith service and was quoted $15 service call and $35 for opening the lock on a front door, due to a lost key. I found out this locksmith service is just a phone center that calls out local locksmiths.
The locksmith that performed the service was great, however he would not accept my quoted price. The $50 quot turned out to be $200. Being visibly upset the locksmith reduced the fee to $150.
I called the company again (704)266-3707 to complain. The same guy answered and said he just told me the $15 and $35 as he did not really know the cost of services. How do you advertise for services and not know the cost of said service?
This is the old bait and switch. Tell you a low price, provide the service and demand a higher fee.
