I was enrolled in Professional Fitness at the University Area in Charlotte, NC for 6 months. The contract someone has fine print about them having the right to charge you every month after that 6 month period, as a part of auto renewal.
I was aware of that and so 2 months before my membership ended I asked my new trainer(3rd trainer change) to get me my account and other information in order to send in the form to "Beyond Fitness" in Raleigh, which is another alias for the same company.
For two months, the University Professional Fitness did not transfer my information to my new gymn trainer (who also belongs to Professional Fitness in the same city!) and now, inspite of a 60 day notice, I will be charged an extra month for the slacking work ethics of the employees. I have sent a cancellation form which is well before October charging period now.
I truly advise everyone against this company cause they will make you repent spending your money on these terrible trainers and pathetic customer service.

i was an employee that was just fired because I REFUSED to sell training packages because i know they dont look after you but focus more on meeting their club quotas. i been on some of these conference calls and all they talk about "LETS GO AND GET THEM PEOPLE. GET MONEY" so when you hear a guy name colt stevens, or dan greenberg know these people dont care about you they use the same sales technique and everyone to get you to sign and thats making you feel like crap and worthless about your life. i got proof and evidence to sue them for fraud and other crimes they have commited anyone that wants to help can email me at (((ROR REDACTED))). i am commited in bringin this company down just because all the clintele in this company deserves better!!

The company is a sham!

I have been in the fitness industry for 21 years now and I have personally seen the ethics this company upholds. I worked for them for about 2 weeks when I was visiting the NC area and they hire non certified trainers, criminals and people who have NO CLUE about the industry. I was there 4 weeks and saw a huge turnover and the pay was horrible.
The trainers are responsible for taking care of their clients , so THEY should have helped the client with their issues....I have seen all the BS and lies...company changing their name..RED FLAG FOLKS!! I was told they changed their name due to all the customer service issues. They tried to say that they mailed out my paycheck and I never got it....I had to hound them and threaten to go to the NC Dept. of Labor..what a sham folks.
Sincerely,
Craig

Don't take it out on the trainers

There are a few people on here complaining of Beyond Fitness/Professional Fitness taking money from their accounts after the contract period. If you look at your contract, at the bottom there is a place that you initialed authorizing them to continue taking the same amount out of your account (auto-renewal) unless you submit a request to stop.
Also, it is not your trainer's job to keep track of your information. They are there to train you and that is it. They do not have copies of your contract. You should have asked a manager or just looked at the contract yourself.
You could have sent in your request at any time to stop it via certified mail to the corporate office in Raleigh. I know you signed this because the contract would have never gone through without your initials unless you paid for your sessions in full. In the future I advise that you read anything you sign to avoid misunderstandings like this.
