Professional Pool Remodeling, Inc. rip-off! Very poor job remodeling my pool. Longwood Florida

I have paid them $4,600.00 and owe them a balance of $2,200.00. I am refusing to pay. They had to drain and refill my pool twice. And now I am left with adding start up chemicals in which they should be doing today. I was woke with a Certified letter Aug. 7th wanting the remaining balance in 3 days are they are going to put a lien on my home.

To see this job is to believe. I had stone repaid over my existing tile, not stone this was tile. I have some not even, some upside down, some broken,some bugged out,some in, some turned. the reason I know is because some stone is longer then others, I have chipped stone that wasn't replaced it was only covered up with thick amounts of white grout. I have places where the stone was cut to fit and not even.

I was told by Paul Fischi the partner, that a brown color of paint in which i do could be done to make it like it blends in. I have 13 return balls that i was told by Paul gets replaced as new. either broken because of them are shooting in all directions, and leaking out everywhere not to mention they are all cemented in now with the diamond brite. I was able to twist them off and replace as needed. I now can't do. I have to pay a service charge of atleast 40.00 just to replace a 2.00 part. The knots to my spa needs replaced now there are 4.

I have a self cleaning system that was working just fine. Now the ends are filled with cement that they either don't come up at all or can't come up all the way to do their job. I had them put Diamond in lays on my steps and spa they didn't even put it on my love seat. The steps where the point of the diamond is sticking out and someone can hurt them self. now i have a Law suit if someone is hurt. I have a broken return where the water comes from spa to pool. They didn't even tell me they broke it off and through all of this I only noticed it late yesterday afternoon.

Where the tile guy was out, he didn't put things down to protect the cool deck that cost me 1,400.00. I now have marks and grouting white stains all over it. The diamond brite I ordered was supposed to be Blue and I got white with blue in it. I even told them. I called the tile guy Jamie, right when the guys left doing it. My Pool isn't blue. He tells me, it will turn blue when water hits it and the chemicals are added. I called Paul he said the samething. I called Lou, he's the head man. He told me the samething. one after another i called to address this problem. I sure didn't see it turning the blue I ordered. I told Lou if you had the chart in front of you, you would see. he says he did and I have the darkest blue on the chart. Because I asked him what ever the darkest is that is mine.

Paul brings out the chart few days later. But he brings a chart I never seen. even though all colors were on it... I have an actual picture of the chart I seen. The day, Jamie was doing the stone work. And I have a witness on this. I told him I am supposed to get diamond in lays and also burgundy tiles replaced. we also told him the wall where my water falls isn't straight, that's the most important wall because that is the first thing you look at looking out my French doors. He gets on the phone and calls the office. I don't know what was discussed but. I thought all was taken care of.

For one Jamie didn't do the diamond enlays at all, the pool had to be drained to do them. Let me go back a second. The replacing of the burgundy tiles wasn't added to the contract it was verbal by Paul. he had called me before my stone was even started. even before they started doing it. He let me know it wasn't going to match and he would bring out a chart for me to pick from. Which he never did nor did he get back with me? Now he is saying he doesn't remember this call. I waited and waited and even said something to Jamie. I was never addressed on it again. I bought a new 2hp motor and it still is leaking. Jamie been by 3 different times. it's better but still isn't fixed.

Thre is so much more to say. I have taken notes and have them and also many pictures I can show. I have a witness that's been here every time there's been trouble with them correcting something.Paul even says to me I don't know what you are worried about you have a 2 year warranty on anything. My Witness then says to him, if it's not done now. what makes her think she will get it done then. Paul didn't respond. Also my witness says that day he could swear he was drinking and went asfar as saying something to be. i tried to stand close to Paul to see if i could tell and i couldn't. So, that's my witness. I am not swearing to it.

I even have a police report on the Lou. When I had Paul come over and see the poor stone work etc. etc. And my witness was here that day as well. He said he would have to get Lou out here. That he would have to see this because he was head of construction and warned me that Lou. Take him with a grain of salt. I didn't know what he meant by that until the next day. Lou told me nothing was wrong with my pool before he even looked at it. when I started showing him all the flaws. He began to get mad and told me asfar as he was concerned my pool is completed.

I then told him I don't know why Paul even sent you out here and I was done talking to him, i was coming in to call Paul. I left him out side and as I was dialing the number to Paul. Lou storms in and gets in my face yelling at me and raised his hand to hit me. why he didn't I am not sure. It took him like 3 minutes to get out of my home, he was that mad and I remember these words. "how in the @#$% do you get out of here." After he left I began to talk to Paul. He heard what was going on. well most of it. As I was talking to him I ran over to lock my door.

I asked him why he even sent him and to never send him to my home again. When I got off the phone with him. I was scared he was coming back. I called the police and also that witness I bring up. he came rushing over. I wished I would had have him over when Lou was here but at that time I didn't know what to expect.(Paul is saying that he doesn't believe Lou went to hit me. I replied are you calling me a liar.he didn't respond.

I am going to end this because there's so much to say and I don't want to waste your time. You can see I have gone through so much with this company and even had to call off work twice.once because Paul didn't have the time for me and i called Lou and he told me he would be out later. that was when i discovered my Diamond brite wasn't blue and Jamie brought the chart i picked from. that's how i got the picture. I asked him to leave it, he sure acted like he didn't and i told him oh my god I don't want this thing,I will give it back and i laughed. The second day i missed was the one that Paul came out and looked at everything and even agreed it's not right.

When Paul came few days later to so call finish me up.
I had prepared a list of things I want completed. I made him a copy and also the tile guy one. They sent Jamie out one more time after that list. Let me say all they were doing was humoring me. Added grout thicker to cover their mistakes, put diamond enlays in poorly and showed me how to work the new filter system and pump and made sure my 2 water fountains worked. That's been it.

Please help me. I now am being threatened on a lien on my home and I am stuck with a mess on my hands and I even have to add my own start up chemicals. Not counting my broken gate, my broken hose and missing hose nozzle. Funny thing is they didn't even tell me about these things. I had to find myself and I have 3 little dogs.

Aug 6. Yesterday. When Jamie left from Humoring me.
Just before he left he called me out told me he was leaving and that he would be back tomorrow Later to add start up chemicals, he told me real fast what he had done. After he left I checked all things and that's when I discovered my return balls going crazy. all directions and where I had him sand down the very rough edges and deep imprints around balls. Yes, he done them. He done 2 on steps and didn't finish the other 2 on the other side and didn't even do the spa ones. I rushed in and called Paul on his cell.

He didn't answer so i left a message. I am looking out at this stuff again. Mean time, Paul calls and I get a message when i came in. Jamie said all was done so someone is lying here. I saved this message. I still have it. When I called him back I was so upset. I know he was calling me a liar is how I took it and 2 I told Paul I gave you a list. Please work from the list I gave and I don't want to be brought out on each and every little thing. Just tell me when my list is completed. I can't be your Baby-sitters that you are the professionals. why should I have to tell Jamie the balls were going in all directions. He should had seen and that the leak in my pump, he should had seen and the cool deck damage he done. he should had seen. I told Paul all I want is my 6,800.00 worth.

I want a Professional job. Like your name of company. Then i ask Paul do you think i have a professional job? boy was there a long pause i had to ask him 3 times before he would answer and he finally does and says it looks OK. i said oh so if this was your pool you would be happy with the work. he doesn't respond. i tell him i really thought I had you on my side because of the day he was out. I said Lou got to you and now your just like him. He said thank you and hung up and now i wake to this Certified Letter
