I paid $32,000 for a Kitchen and Bath Remodel starting September 28th 2017.

To date Feburary 20th 2018) I do not have Cabinets, granite, backsplash, sink, fixtures as specified in the contract. The bathroom tile is crooked, the floor of the shower tilts so the water pools on the opposite side of the floor. Light fixtures were left hanging in the kitchen. Doors were not painted OR delivered. For TWO MONTHS, I had to wash dishes in my shower because I had no other way to do it. 

I caught him in lie after lie. He lies like its his job to lie (and evidently, it IS, or so it would seem)

When asked for a refund, he said "There will be no refund"

After two months of being delayed, postponed, etc with a host of inventive excuses

The cabinets were the wrong color

The cabinets are still on the truck and they won't unload it until Monday (This is when I had noticed he blocked me on Facebook)

The cabinets are not assembled yet

Family member died.

Doesn't work the weekend before Christmas( ironically he promised the job would be finished by the week before Christmas)

Wrecked his trailer

Employee took his tools

Cabinets are finally ready, but he doesn't have time to get them

You get the idea.

I finally started calling the places he was supposed to get the materials. He put the granite on HOLD but never ordered it.(Granite he charged me an EXTRA $5000.00 for) The cabinet place said yes, they designed the cabinets, but he never paid for them.

When I brought this up to him, he told me it was "none of my business" when or what he bought for the job. After the final confrontation, I called the sherriff. HE lied to the sherrif and told him he had my cabients on his trailer (for 4 weeks? Seriousl?) When we called him the next day he hadn MAGICALLY returned the cabinets (in the space of less than 12 hours) And that WE owed HIM a restocking fee?
