we have been provided electric service from them almost 2 years,and they offered us FLAT RATE system,which means our bill was going to be same amount every month.we accepted their offer.
in order to our moving,we called them and terminated contract,then they said we owed almost 250 dollers.they said flat rate is only for monthly payment,but every month they charged us for energy which we overused of our flat rate.
when we have had offer of flat rate from them,they never explain to us.all they said was they showed how much we overused energy and amount on bill.yes,it was on bill,but on the bill,they also said THIS IS NOT A BILL.
we have talked to supervisor and try to dispute,but they said there is only one way to fix this problem which is PAYOFF or they will report to credit bureau and it will effect to our credit score.that sounded so unprofessional and we still cannot believe what they did to us.
everyone,please be careful of FLAT RATE!
