Progress Energy Carolinas CP&L aka Progress Energy aka Duke Energy Breach of Agreement and Understanding in acquisition of land per eminent domain Charlotte, N C & Raleigh, N C North Carolina

Water Power Developers on the Pee Dee River in NC acquired land for four (4) hydroelectric dams and reservoirs and for each plant proposed land was surveyed and acquired under the threat of condemnation. The documents of conveyance clearly stated the intent for the use of the land for individual sites. The public utility built one (1) dam and reservoir but have kept all the land that was purchased and no development of the other three (3) sites ever materialized. Our issue is a breach of the contracts of acquisition. There are similar rip-offs by Duke Energy in SC involving 14,700 acres being sold to Crescent Land & Timer which is a subsidiary of Duke Energy aka Duke Power etc. All the documents either stated specific Intent or implied intent.
