Ordered 1 lamp for my personal projector which uses a common lamp (Optoma) and did not hear anything for two weeks. So, I made a phone call to customer service to find out when the lamp would be shipped. The agent was unprofessional and not apologetic for the delay. She stated it would ship within the week. It did not. I called again a week later and was told that I was "breaking up" and couldn't be heard and was hung up on. I was calling from a digital land line at work! Called back and got the same person who could magically hear me now. She was unprofessional and told me that they did get a shipment of bulbs in that were my type but they were damaged and had to be returned to the manufacturer. BS! She told me mine would likely ship out next week but couldn't guarantee it. I asked if they would expedite the shipment as it has now been three weeks since my order with at least another week before it ships. She said no. Shocker! What a ripoff company. Knowing that she is simpy rank & file and that it is likely not her fault personally, I stayed calm and polite. Her only really fault was her lack of professionalism and for working for a corrupt company. Finally, I asked if I could speak to a manager and was told that I could hold but she was on another line at the moment. I knew this would go no where but I stuck it out. Waited 20 minutes on hold and big surprise, it gets forwarded to a voicemail where I leave a message... still waiting for a return call... still waiting...
Moral of the story: Don't screw yourself just to save $15 over the big electronics store. Projector Lamp Center is a scam and a ripoff company. Just look at the other comments about these guys by doing a Google search. I learned a hard lesson on this one, don't let it happen to you!!!! BUYER BEWARE - Projector Lamp Center / ProjectorLampCenter.com is a SCAM!!!!
Frustrated that a company like this is licensed to operate... What a crock!

My name is Mark, I am President of Lamps and Screens Online LLC. My company purchased the assets of Sage Ryder in a public auction in accordance with the bankruptcy laws in the State of Georgia. The assets included the websites www.projectorlampcenter.com, www.bigscreencenter.com and www.mountcenter.com. Sage Ryder went from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7 recently. I will not go into the details why, however the Governor of Georgia's office, the bankruptcy trustee for the state of Georgia and the BBB are now fully aware of circumstances.
Sage Ryder went bust owing my company in excess of $650k, we bought the assets in the hope of recouping some of those losses by turning the company around and making it profitable again. The NEW Company has new management, a solid line of credit and a new mission to offer world class service. We managed to save and re-employ some of the innocent employees that were uncomfortable with the old management practices and re launch the company last week at a new location.
I am very happy to talk or communicate with any old customers that feel they didn't receive satisfaction and direct them to the relevant authorities. My email address is mark@lasollc.com, please feel free to email me with a phone number and I will gladly speak with you.
