DO NOT WORK FOR PROMO MODELS!
They are the most unprofessional company I have ever worked for!! Their contract stated they had 180 days to pay be, which should have been a red flag from the start. Most legit agencies will pay 45-60 days. I waited the 180 days and NOTHING. I have emailed multiple times, and called!! It sounds like there is more then one person booking events, I worked for Kelly at promo models. When I called her number on the contract, is was disconnected!!!
The company is a TOTAL SCAM! I also worked for them at the Dew Tour. It sounds like they are ripping people and models off all over the US! They owe me over 600 bucks!! Selfish jerks! Models have to pay for parking, food, ect... so I lost money working this event! I work for another agency who is awsome!! The funny thing is, someone of here keeps saying all these models are lieing, but when I look them up, there is not one bad report!!
So, I urge you to ask around, I can PROMISE YOU WILL find someone local who has worked for promo models and been ripped off!!!! I am more angry then anything at how long this has been allowed to go on. I did everything asked of me, I showed up on time, returned my report (you have to if you are a manager) at an event and followed up. They have done nothing but rip me off!! I even called the Client, and they said they paid them 2 weeks after the event!
Do NOT work for promo models! They are scam artists!!

Every model ripped off...the San Diego I-Team wants to hear from you...so far only 19 have come forward and filed official complaints with the state of California....I have tried getting a group together for a class action but no one seems that interested in doing it...at the very least please file a report with the state of California so this company will be shut down as they are still operating on the internet and I still get emails from them for work even though they never paid...WTF.....

It's perfectly logical that we would look for Beddows wherever we thought we could find him, including the Judo School. After all, he closed his office and his P.O. Box; he wasn't at home and the phone numbers we had for him were out of service.
Meantime, we want to hear from other Promo Models who haven't been paid. The California Labor Board wants to hear from unpaid models too. They already have 19 complaints statewide about the company.

It seems that you were not the only one ripped off, www.PromoModels.com has been doing this for years and years now. Lets find a way to shut them down and not let them get away with this!!

They go by many names sometimes Promo Models sometimes PromoModels.com and sometimes www.PromoModels.com
Many of these reports speak about PromoModels.com not returning calls or emails and simply not paying staff after the work is done!?!? This is not acceptable and we need to find a way to shut them down! I would suggest calling the police or organizing a class action law suit!
