PROSERV of Citrus County (THE RIP OFF) was called out to my home in Citrus County because the washer had overflowed. It was the Holiday so I had no other options. The leak had been caught immediately! There was about 1/8 of an inch of water on 300sq. Ft. of vinyl flooring and about 1 sq. ft. of carpeting got wet. My tenant had even mopped all the water up before Proserv showed it's ugly face.

For any ethical, honest company this would have been a $300.00 job even on the holiday. When I finally got the bill for their services I about had a heart attack. I finally got the bill for their so-called services and it was $1,541.60 or $1,451.60. They can't even get their paperwork straight!

I believe PROSERV is not only ripping off the consumer but is filing fraudulent claims against the Home Owners insurance companies. Anyone that has been ripped off by PROSERV should file a complaint with their States Attorneys Generals office as well as the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners). I have no intention of paying this bill. In fact I will be sending them an invoice for all the time I have spent researching and filing complaints.

We live in a new world. Everyone wants everything for nothing and is not afraid to steal it!
