What a nightmare we have been through!

FACT: PayPal DID freeze our account because it was a new account and more than $10,000 flooded into the account in 48 hours. They thought the account had been hijacked and wanted to verify its authenticity.

FACT: We did ask Proshad to provide documents requested by PayPal to verify his business. Proshad complied with requests made of him.

FACT: Proshad told us he DID send PS3's to approximately 54 customers, with only a deposit of the shipping fees made to him. Payment to Proshad for PS3's was to be made once PayPal unfroze the account. PayPal said they would only unfreeze the account after verification that 11 SPECIFIC customers received their orders.

FACT: Proshad provided us with tracking numbers, which could be checked at nzpost.co.nz/Cultures/en-NZ/OnlineTools/TrackAndTrace/. He told us to wait 24 hours before entering these numbers, as they wouldn't appear right away. We provided our customers with these numbers and the link and asked them to wait 24 hours. Using the link provided and the tracking numbers provided, we began tracking the packages after 24 hours and NEVER received anything but ERROR messages - No scan found, invalid tracking number. When asked about this Proshad said that computer software overseas may not match US delivery companies and tracking numbers may not show up in system until ACTUAL delivery. A delivery date of Thursday, December 20th was promised. We told our customers Friday, December 21st just to play it safe.

FACT: We contacted NZ Post with an inquiry about ALL of the tracking numbers and were told by Ms. Sarah Hall - I can only say that, given the information you have provided, we can not confirm these shipments whatsoever. We were contacted once again by Ms. Hall notifying us Proshad had approached her with paperwork which appeared to be valid and filed an investigation.

FACT: As of today, December 24th, NONE of our customers received their orders and the tracking numbers are still not valid in the tracking system. We promised our buyers that we would refund their money if their orders were not received by Friday.

FACT: IF Proshad is a legitimate business dealer, then this series of events has been a horrible nightmare for him, as well as us. We spent many hours talking with him by phone, e-mail and instant messenger and thought we were forging a great working relationship and securing a great future for our families.

IF Proshad is a scammer, then he is VERY good at his craft. He always had an explanation for everything we questioned, although, in retrospect, there has been some conflicting information. He requests money paid via Western Union and his wife as the recipient of the money. Her name is Maraha Parai. We never gave thought to the fact that her last name was different, until all the problems escalated and don't know if this makes a different or not.

FACT: IF our customers receive their orders after we have processed refunds, we will work diligently to re-collect the money and pay Proshad the money due him and his company. As it stands, we have lost about $3,000 in money already sent to him for shipping.

BOTTOM LINE: Our customers paid us for a product, which Proshad Pahlevan was to ship to our customers in time for Christmas delivery. As of today, December 24th, our customers do not have their orders and we have had to refund their money. Proshad has threatened to sue us and PayPal. This will not be necessary if our customers receive their orders. The ball is in his court.

We are searching for a reputable supplier and hope our customers will trust us in the future, but Proshad has slandered our name on this site, so we felt compelled to file a rebuttal. If you question our integrity, please see our personal feedback ratings on E-Bay - both are 100% - sassygal and

As of January 5, 2008, our customers still have not received their orders. Further contact with Ms. Sarah Hall reveals that Mr. Pahlevan never returned to her with additional paperwork requested of him. The last contact we had from him was December 23rd with a link to this report. Many of our customers have been VERY understanding and left either positive or neutral feedback on E-Bay and we appreciate their patience. We would also like to point out that www.countrybobselectronics.com, as reported by Mr. Pahlevan, had absolutely nothing to do with these transactions. Countrybobscountrystore on E-Bay is the business Mr. Pahlevan worked with.
