Prospect Training International LLC Misleading ans outright lie to agents to get them to thier events ! Newark, New York

I had received a solicitation email several months ago from a Christopher Joyce from Prospect Training International LLC. I didn't realize at the time the company's sole purpose is to offer sales training to real estate agents. Now as an agent I get tons of similar solicitations from many reputable companies like Buffini and Ferry. Never had I been outright lied to in order to attend one of their sales seminars. The email sent by Mr. Joyce indicated that they are bring Banks reps and potential home buyers and that they are in search of agents that can assist them on the spot. They continue to indicate that theres no referral fee or commission splitting. All the while after you sit there in the seminar you begin to realized you just been duped. No bank reps , no buyers just a session of pure bull crap. A complete waste of time. Why they couldn't be honest and upfront about the event is beyond me. I would have to be even bigger idiot to stroke a check to sign up for one of their training programs. Below is copy of the  email from them:  

Hello my name Chris Joyce. I was actually supposed to get in contact with you at some point yesterday but I didnt have a chance to. I know its last minute but Im looking for a few ********  agents to work with. My company Prospect Training International is doing an event for the local banks and some mortgage companies in the **************** over at the **********hotel. Were looking for some ***** agents to come out and help out the buyers that the banks have pre qualified. Basically we teach the banks when they have a client come in and get pre qualified for a loan to make sure that they set them up with a good buyers agent immediately to help show them properties and to speed up the whole loan process. Theres no hidden fees, costs or referral fees. Were just teaching the banks how to set up a team with a good realtor, so we wanted some out there for them to do it with. So were just looking for some agents to come out, bring business cards and network with the Banks. If you do that you should easily get a couple buyers out of this, or at least meet a couple banks that send you a deal or 2 on a regular basis. I know its short notice but the event is going to be from ******* at the ******** and theres also a breakfast from**. if you want to come to that. But again if your not slammed or backed up and you can take on a couple buyers I would love to have you out there. Either way let me know if that works for you or not. You can either shoot me an email or just give me a call directly. Again people keep asking me what the catch is so just make sure you know theres no cost or fees of any kind. It just makes it a lot easier on us when we train them to set up a team with a good agent if we have people for them to do it with.
