Prosperica Mastercard RIPOFF I have been taken for a ride, but it isn't a good one Champlain New York

Around the end of October I recieved a call about a Mastercard with a $2000.00 credit limit from a company called Prosperica. The only thing that I had to do was pay a one time processing fee of $249.00 At that time I wasn't sure and I asked them to call me back in a week. On Sept. 2nd I got that call, that I wish I would of never gotten. I agreed and gave them the $249.00 with this came my account number, SS numbers, and pretty much my whole life history. They told me that the debit would come out that day, however it didn't until the 6th. I found this odd, but it was the end of the week and thought maybe it could have something to do with that. I spoke with them a couple of times after this, checking to see if the paper work had been sent. I was told that it had already been mailed and was dismissed quickly (almost hung up on).

After several more days I began to start getting uneasy and tried to call yet again. This time the phone number tells me that this number is not available to my calling area. I went straight to the computer and type in Prosperica in the search field. When I did this my heart nearly stopped. I saw report after report talking about the rip-off. Just when I thought that it couldn't get any worse I called my bank today (this is exactly 1 month from the first payment) and they have taken $249.00 out again. My bank had already been notified and I am praying that they will stop payment and not let this happen to us again. Theses people have everything on both me and my husband. I am still in the middle of trying to go through the fraud allerts, Attorny General's office, and changing my account. I want these people to pay. I want to know why that people can get away with this and nothing happen to them. When I made my police report they admitted to me that they will most likely never be found. How can this be?
