Protechnik Projector Oracle Pro-Optics , Pro Technik Scam (all broke in a little less than a month) Well, Ive been very unfortunate to be scammed by my neighbors relative buying 3 projectors for my office and gifts to friends. Its an embarrassment that I paid almost $1800 for these protechnik projectors and that 2 projectors broke within 1 month and the other makes a loud cracking noise when i turn it on . I highly advising you guys to not buy this product as its not worth the value Ive paid for. The image quality is like a portable projector and most of the features listed on the box are not working. Ive tried to contact the phone number on their website and no one ever respond to me. Just for your heads up the projector models Im purchased are oracle lcd projector hd-800 hd800 , pt-100a pt100a , and pro-optics pt110a pt-110a. I think these are the correct model names as they are different on the manual and box. Ive checked out online and found out that these projectors are being sold on the streets and have very high msrp that do not make the quality. Fortunately, Ive harassed my neighbor about their relatives actions and they gave me a valid phone number that I can call to get repair or replacement. I know Im not the only victim for this protechnik audio lab scam so Ill share the contact information Ive gathered with you guys. I havent had the time to call the phone number yet but the phone number is (503) 784 2963 and the email is nigel@speaker-factory.com. Ive emailed already but have not received a response yet so Ill update you guys later when I get a response. I really hope that this may help you guys!

Anything sold under this brand would be better off in the dollar store.

There is nothing about these systems that are useful. Maybe the wires that are included. The original complaint is true. All of the electronics sold under this brand are worthless and cheaply made. Advertised as 'made in Germany' when in fact that is just a marketing ploy to have you believe it is higher end. Everything is China made garbage under this brand. Do not purchase these 'van sale' items.

Just check their website. This stuff is typical white van scam crap.

My roommate just got one of their surround systems dumped on him.  Model PT-65.  The box claims it to be a 2800 watt 7.1 surround system with "wireless technology" and blu-ray compatibility.  What it actually is, is a cheap little Chinese built stereo, with no digital inputs and only 5 speaker outs.  So no 7.1 surround, maybe 5 channel stereo if you're lucky.  And the only wireless thing about it is the remote, if it works.  This stuff is all garbage, and you'll never find it in a retail store because then the customer(victim) would have somewhere to return it.  Their website includes a "Where to Buy" section, showing locations in Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, etc...funny that there is no mention of an address, business name or contact information of any kind for any of them.

This complaint was made by a competitor trying to trash our name. I know who it is and he has admitted doing it. Notice how he names 5 differnt models when he claims he bought 2 . He also listed a speaker system. His name is Glen Smith he owns a company called Theater Research Google that and you will see what kind of guy he is and his speakers. He could not afford to Import projectors and was loosing  money so he used rip off report. Make him provide a receipt or a certificate of authenticity or remove this. His report is bogus please make him prove it or remove it
