I spoke with Protective Life when I was between jobs for coverage until I found another job. They told me I could cancel at any time and be reimbursed for any unused drafted monies. I have tried to cancel via phone and get "put off", meaning transfered from here to there and ending up nowhere. I have sent mail, faxes and tried to email with no response. They continue to draft that money from my account. In all honesty the coverage is a scam, none of the doctors in my area even take this discount card and low and behold none of the doctors here are on their "preferred provider list". I have submitted numerous "nominations" for my local doc with no response from this company. They are a rip-off and everyone should avoid them if at all possible.

I see a lot of people are having these same problems with this scam. We need to get together and put this company out of business. These scumbags are getting rich off of our hard earned dollars and not giving us anything in return. We need to take this to the top. I already have my state attorney's office investigating this company and they said they are in the process of shutting them down. Let's make sure this gets done.
