I purchased a 27" Spectroniq Tv in February of 2007. When the tv came in it was a Protron. After a few months the base broke and it tumbled to the floor hitting my surround speakers and puncturing a hole in the LCD screen. I contacted the company I purchased it from and it was under warranty so he gave me the contact information. I called the return center and they issued a RMA #. I sent it back via UPS on August 27 2007. It was received by the return center on September 4, 2007. I called on September 7 to ask about the tv. They received it, but they stated it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks for the replacement to be sent out. I called back September 27, they proceeded to inform me that they did not have stock in this paticular tv, and that they were expecting it in 7 to 10 days. well this scenario continued and is still going on as of today which is February 1, 2008, 6 months later. I am so digusted with this company. I even contacted the authorities, and not too much they can do there either. I have been calling every other week since August, and they continue to feed me the same story. I just happened to be looking them up online, and came across another story EXACTLY like mine, so I had to write my own sob story on this issue. I can not believe that they do this and get away with it. There has got to be something we can do to stop this and either get our money back or receive a comparable tv. I suggested this to the company of course and they flat out refused and said it was impossible. I asked them how long did they expect their customer to wait for them to get stock before they accommodated them? I said 10 years, 5 years, another month. Every time I called the same thing, NO STOCK. I said it countless times to them" I guarantee that when I call again, you will tell me the same thing" and they do. This has been going on since August 2007. It's ridiculous. They just don't seem to care. I wish there was something I could do to scare them into doing the right thing. How does a company stay in business when they NEVER have stock??? It's just baffling to me. I even flat out told them that I thought they had no intention of sending a tv and they were scamming me. They never flinched. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
