Psychic Christopher Golden Scammed me out of $1,075.00 Internet

I am well aware Christopher, that this remains permanent on Ripoff Report.

You twisted my words. I plainly said you DID NOT do what you said you could and would do and what I paid you to do. I am sorry we speak a different language.  I said nothing about anticipating what you would do. I don't anticipate you doing anything because you are no longer doing the work I paid you to do. In other words you are no longer working on my behalf. If you ever were, you stopped right after I sent you a large sum of money.

What I said was that if you would back up and do the work you were paid to do and get results, I would write a statement on Ripoff Report and admit that I was wrong about you. I would also write an apology and a good review. That too would remain permanent on Ripoff Report.

Maybe I did not make myself clear as you are in California and I am in the mountains of North Carolina and we speak a different language, or in different terms.

Now, in an email you sent me in the last few days, you said that your work was not guaranteed 100% as is nothing else in life and I know that to be true.  Here is where you contradicted yourself. Just before I sent the large sum of money, you said in an email to me that we were almost there and I quote, "We will get there." I have all emails.

In the very beginning you even stated to me, "You will be pursued, that is for sure." Well that was the first of June and no one has pursued me yet.

There is no point in going around and around with this. As I said, it is what it is and it taught me a very good lesson, stay away from psychics. As we say here in the mountains, the ball is in your court.

I've been reading this thread and decided it's time for me to chime in.  Denise, what you are saying is that you anticipate that what I said I would do, I will not do.  And that, if you are wrong, you will correct it.

The thing is that, on Rip Off Report, you cannot ever remove something.  So you are saying I have not necessarily done anything wrong or right. But you "feel" like I won't do something and therefore you are posting a permanent accusation on a site where nothing ever gets removed.

Rip Off Report has a high page rank and they do not remove reports, ever.  They do not verify if the complaint is valid or not. Anyone can say almost anythinig about anyone on this site and it's like a tatoo.  It's a permanent record. And by your own admission, you are not certain that I have done something wrong, you just feel that I will in the future.

I'm not going to fight this legally.  My longterm clients do not believe any of this stuff. And those who do, well they do.  Nothing I can really do about it. Anyone can say anything about me on Rip Off Report and my hands are tied.

So please don't bother saying that if you're wrong you'll correct it.  There is no correctinng this. I knew when I launched a website what the risks were.  And here we are.  Life goes on.

I don't know if Mark is a friend of Christopher Golden or if this is Christopher himself. It does seem rather strange that Christopher and I had somewhat of a heated dispute via email last night and here is a rebuttal today. I have made no false statements and I have everything I need to back it up. 

There is no point in arguing back and forth about this issue. It is what it is and until Christopher proves me wrong it will be as is. As I stated in a prior rebuttal, when and only when Christopher proves me wrong by doing what he said he would, I will publically apologize and admit I was wrong and do whatever it takes to clear his name. I will also apologize to Christopher himself and will write a good review.

But, I am not sitting and waiting for it to happen because I am almost 100% sure it won't.

First of all, Rip Off Report protects your right to free speech. But the law does not protect you from the consequences of libel or slander. These are two different things. If you are making false statements and this creates damages to someone’s livelihood then yes, he can take legal action against you. So, although I do not know the specifics of your situation, other than what you’ve posted here, it does sound like this guy has a right to protect himself legally, if in fact you are committing slander or libel.

Secondly, if you could not afford to use his services, then why did you go ahead with it? Do you see the missing logic here? You are stating you are a victim and substantiating this by saying you are on Social Security. Did someone forcibly take money out of your hands? If you paid or donated money willfully, as what you put in quotes says, then how can you say this is causing you financial hardship.

Look, if this guy is not for real, then it’s your own fault for sending him money. And if he is for real and you’re posting emotions as facts, you might be getting yourself in a bit of hot water here.

I do not know why these rebuttals are claiming that I am a competitor. This is one of the lamest excuses ever. If I was, why would I not promote myself. In fact I even stated that love spells are a scam. I do not believe in them. So what exactly am I competing with this CG with.

I have yet to read a rebuttal from a person with a bit of common sense. If CG pushes me further I will post more evidence online and trust me I do have it.

Here is the word for word email I received from Psychic Christopher Golden on October 15, 2015:

"As far as I can tell, based on what you have stated publicly, we are in a legal dispute. This means I need to listen to the advise of my attorneys before I engage in any further communication with you."  

"You've gone beyond simply sharing your opinion about your own personal experience and have engaged in slander and libel. You have made a direct attack on my professional reputation with a clear motive of inflicting damage."

"I have nothing further to say to you at this time. We'll see what the lawyers have to say, but we may find ourselves in a courtroom, comparing what you have willfully given as a spiritual donation, against the potential projected losses to my livelihood due to unsubstantiated accusations you have made against me publicly."

"I don't know. Have to see what the lawyers advise. Until then, I have nothing further to add."

I had not said anything to Christopher Golden about reporting him. So that tells me he monitors these sites to see who has reported him. Also, I see his email to me as threats. I am the one who has been scammed here.  What kind of person would prey on a 63 year old woman living on Social Security? He doesn't care. He will take your last penny. 

Mr. Golden needs to read the top of this page - "Ripoff Report protects consumers first amendment right to free speech." I believe that I also have rights to a refund of the $1,075.00 that I gave him for something he could not and did not do. His scam caused a personal financial hardship for me, as I said, living on Social Security.

I emailed him back and I will be glad to share that email on here as well.

I do not want other people to be scammed during a time of desperation.

First of all, I have no idea who Jessica is and I don't care if you believe that or not. When I saw her report on here I responded because I have received the same from Christopher Golden that she/ he has and that is NOTHING. What kind of so called psychic tells a person they can get the results they want for $400.00, then they need $600.00 more and he is sure the results wanted will come??? I sent the $600.00, did not even get an update and 2 weeks later he wants $2,400.00 more without even giving a reason why.

You can call it a "donation" just like he does, but I paid him money to do something for me that he said he could do, first for $400.00 then he said we were almost there and with the $600.00 energy healing we would be there soon.

I have it all, all our emails, email receipts for my payments, the letter identical to Jessica's and all of Christopher's promises that were nothing but lies. So yes, I do have proof.

I will also have you know that I am a very intelligent person and I do not like you putting your remarks on here as to my intelligence. That is not acceptable! The only stupid thing I have done is to give Christopher Golden over $1,000.00 for something he did not do.

As far as being his competitor, there are plenty out there just like him, but I am not one of them. I would never take money from people and give them nothing in return. I have always worked hard for my money.

Christopher obviously pays people to write his rebuttals or is writing them himself. Either way, I don't care. I am done with him except for getting my money back.

If he can do what he told me he could do, for the amount of money he said it would take,  I will write an apology right here and let everyone know I was wrong. But that will not happen because he cannot do it. I will continue to see him as a fraud and a scammer until he proves me wrong.

These reports are a full frontal attack on a well-known and reputable psychic.  Nothing said is backed up by facts, just merely speculation, exaggeration and outright lies.  Why, I’m not entirely sure. But I don’t mind going to bat for Chris online when someone attacks him online. He has not hurt people. He is kind and he has helped people. I don’t know if he’s rich or not. Where do you get that from? He is certainly successful, in terms of being recognized as accurate and having a fair share of clients. If he really did send you a letter, based on what he feels is true, that is not illegal nor is it immoral. Did he take money from you or did you willfully donate money?  These allegations have so many holes in them. I can’t tell if this is just someone who is off their rocker or someone who is trying to take him down for other reasons. But I have serious doubts that this is a real actual client of Chris. Everything about this smells to me like a competitor, whose accusations probably reflect more of what they are wanting to do and they see Chris as an obstacle, as he is getting the clients they want.  Unlike the person posting all this nonsense, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. And neither does Chris. He speaks from his heart, based on what he sees and, I have never felt wronged by him in any way.  I think I speak for probably hundreds or maybe thousands of other people, over the years.  These attacks are fishy and the statements made in the rebuttals by the attacker are inconsistent.  Somethings up here that’s not right and it isn’t Chris.

So you JohnVincent are Christopher Golden's employee helping him take money from desperate people. You are right about one thing. When you google him his name is everywhere. The money he has taken from desperate people has made him a rich man, rich enough to put his name and lies on many websites. I could care less about how rich he is. What I do care about is the deceitful and fradulent way he made his money.

I have every email he has sent me since  the first part of June and yes, one that he said was specific for me is identical to Jessica's. Would you like me to see if Ripoff Report.com will allow them to be posted?  I am a woman from the mountains of North Carolina and if we are taken advantage of by someone we do not stop until our mission is accomplished. Thought I would give you that information in case you do not know anything about us Southern mountain girls.

Christopher Golden, or whoever he really is, has not done for me anything he said he would because he can't. I am now past the desperation phase and I finally realize that if there is really such thing as a psychic, they might be able to tell you if you and your ex will get back together but they cannot force anyone to do anything, not through metaphysics, energy healing or anything else. I stand a better chance of getting my ex back by just seeing him, and that will happen.

All Christopher ever did for me is take $1,075.00 and I WILL get it back. As I said, I am on a mission and I will do what it takes, no matter the cost. It is the principle here, a devious money sucking person preying on desperate people, some who give him every penny they have in the world. This is not only immoral, it is illegal.

I’ve been reading this slanderous reports about Psychic Christopher Golden. I heard a rumor that the person posting them is angry that his name dominates the Google search for Beverly Hills Psychics. I don’t know if that is true or what this person’s motive is. I just know that my experience is that Chris did not send me any kind of form letter or do any harm to me whatsoever. He did what he said he would do. And in the process he has become my spiritual guru. What I mean by that is he is the one person whom I really look to for spiritual guidance at this stage in my life. His knowledge sometimes seems endless. He is compassionate and he cares about his clients and his students. These awful things I am reading have no basis in reality. Chris is a good man and he is doing a lot of good in this world for the people who need it and are willing to trust him.
