I signed up with Public Power Utilities LLC in 2010 when they offered me a rate of 0.0949 per kwh fixed for one year. The rep told me this way I don`t have to pay the high utility rates for 12 month. the winter came and my friends where only paying 0.0917 for their energy, so I called them to let them know that I want to cancel. The company at that time informed me about a $150.00 termination fee that I would have to pay first over the phone, I told them that I was retired and can`t pay that much at once. This battle went on for over 2 month and still they wanted my to pay that amount. I talked to the PUC and they got my account canceled quick but Public power sent me a bill for the $150.00 and now I have collection agentcies calling me every day. Come to find out the offer from them was only good for 3 month then they hit you hard with a rate of 0.0999 what a rip off. Since then I have recieved calls from other companies offering me stuff because I am a valued customer of Public Power. Caution, Caution
