PublishAmerica is a SCAM! I had my book published with them this year and at first was extremely excited - as any first time author would be - at the idea of being pubished. SO excited that I was blinded by this company and now regret every second of signing a 7 year contact and can not wait until my time is up so i can pull my book from them. First they say you book is ready for relased but once people start ordering they do not even receive the book for 3 months after they order, you can not get in touch ever with anyone on the phone to find out what is going on and not to mention, the quiality of book they print is extremly low. Pages have glue on them, no editing takes place, there are grammatical errors and text placement errors & IF YOU WANT IT FIXED YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM $200.00. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM. They took something that was precuious to me and turned it into an utter dissapointment on all levels. If there are any legal actions that can be taken against them i would like to be included in that as i would love to take this company for everything they are worth and give the rights of thousands of authors back.

I also have my book published with them and now they are asking me to pay 99.00 to get my rights back. I wrote them back and told them what they could do with it and wrote dr hil a letter this am, telling him about them and what a scam they are/ I think that all of us should go on there and maybe then we would get out rights back and money on top of that for all the times wasted when we could have found a better publisher. I found them on Dr Phil two years ago. Not holding him accountable for this though. its not his fault. But that would help if you wrote him a letter and told him about it. They are a scam and big time. Everyone needs to write him.
