In febuary of 2005 i started looking over some of my husbands cc accounts. because of tax time we were going to pay them off. I noticed that my husband was paying 5 to 10 different companies for magazines.

Readers Service through luebke baker & Associates settled with my husband for 405 dollars then turned around and got him signed back up with them by claiming to be one of the other companied he dealt with.

4 companies let me cancel the accounts, 5 companies refused cancelation. Reader's source, Magazine people, International readers league, and national readers service.

Each month he's paid almost 100 dollars for magazine orders. We should have been recieving almost 30 different mag's. some of which are duplicates. However we only recieve about 8 different mags. I've called each company asking them where my mags are each company says that they are the real deal. i cant figure out who is and who isn't. No one will issue refunds for the mags we aren't getting because each company swears we are recieving there mags and we are not.

As i've looked at other complaints i know i'm not that we are not the only family this is happening too.

These companies lie get a sale, they misrepresent themselves to get a sale. i hope that you sales reps at these companies can sleep at night. You guys take food from children's mouths to put money in your bosses pockets and bread crumbs in yours. That's a real trade for selling your souls to the devil.

My whole life when i got in trouble i had to pay for my misstakes, even if i felt i was right and they were wrong. They shouldn't be aloud to rip people off anymore. they should have to pay for services not provided.
