I contacted Publix headquarters about my complaint in the meat and seafood department because within one year I bought meat that was out of date and seafood that smelt like ammonia. Ruined two holiday meals and one with my better half while attempting to have a nice evening with seafood dinner. The person from headquarters promised me that something would be done and sure enough something was done. They promised me that they would take care of me and when I went back and told them about taking care of me they had no idea. I contacted headquarters again and spoke with the same guy again and ended up with empty promises again.
I have also bought bread that was bad and finally got fed up with the store and employees that seemed to never be around when you needed one to assist you. Most of them seemed as if they were in space and not in mind.

What a shame as today I watch them close down the store and only to move to Palm Coast while they remodel this store. I have yet to receive any phone calls from headquarters and as many problems as I and others have seen there not to mention their prices which seem to be about 1/3 higher than anyone else I know. I have even seen a slice of watermelon for over 8.00 dollars and fruit imported from countries like lemons and limes which could be purchased from Texas and other states. I priced them in San Antonio for 16.00 dollars for 124 count box, yet Publix makes you think they are really making you a deal for 5 limes for close to 2.00 dollars. Other fruits have also be terrible like cantaloupe that were either picked way to early or sold way to late.

Whomever is to watch over what employees are suppose to do must have other interest besides his or her duties as they also seem to be friendly enough to think they are doing their job by greeting the customers at the door rather than taking care of their duties. I believe this is probably one of the worst stores I have ever been to. I hope me and others never return to this store as we are now shopping elsewhere.

If I were you I would not shop at that PUBLIX and look for a different grocery store to deal with that can earn your trust rather than not care and jack up the prices and still sell you _&)^(%(&(^)^-

As with the pricing of all companies, no one forces you to shop at Publix.
