These folks called a couple of days ago. They presented a very convining script about being a "third party verifier", and this "not being a Sales call".

The red flag was all the time they spent talking about the top prizes and the "verification" process. They have you verify the simple telemarketing data they have on you, and insist you won based upon an "internet contest" I entered in August. (i.e. ford explorer or 25k in cash, travel weekend, 27 inch flat screen).

They talked convincingly about all the swell prizes we might have won. I googled them and eventually found their pitch on ripoffreport.com, along with a detailed analysis of their "offer" and "prizes". Of course, all their stuff is completely worthless.

Basically, this company is a scary entity with some knowledge of how to make themselves look good on the internet by changing their name, posting their own positive feedback on travel sites and joining local chambers of commerce. When I called the solicitor to tell her what I found, she quizzed me alot to find the source of the negative feedback, then dismissed it. However, it was easy to tell she knew about it and was a very skilled and convincing liar.

It looks like they operate in multiple states under many names to stay ahead of the DA's. WATCH OUT for these con-artists, they are very good at sounding convincing. I'm sure they waste a lot of peoples time and, unfortunately, money. Look up Millenium travel in NY for more info on these folks and their Condominium Travel Club.
