On March 11 2003, I shipped a hot tub pump to Joe Topinka/aka Joe Topper at Pump Warehouse. His internet advertising promises a two day turn around for repair of pumps.
On the March 13 he received the pump and informed me that the total cost would be $100.00. I agreed and sent him the appropriate charge card information by fax.
Started on March 25 I contacted him by phone, email and fax seeking the status of my pump. As of this writing he has not contacted me regarding the whereabouts of pump -- this in spite of a certified letter written to him also.
Now I am faced with the prospect of purchasing a brand new pump which Emerald Spa informs me will cost $450. If I had the old pump back, I could at least look into other rebuilders. But I can't even get Mr. Topinka to respond to this request.
Pump Warehouse and Mr. Topinka have really screwed me.
