Pumpwarehouse.com, Www.heatsiphon.com/jte/ Charged shipping for cancelled item Irwin Pennsylvania

I ordered a whisperflo pump from pumpwarehouse.com at 7:30 in the evening on October 9th. After ordering I realized that the website did not clearly state whether the pump was full or up-rated.

I called at 9:30 in the morning and asked the pump rating. After an invasive answer I explicitly asked the rating a second time and was told it was full rated. I called Pentair and gave them the stock number only to learn that pumpwarehouse misrepresented the product to me.

I immediately called back to cancel the order. I was told they would cancel the order, but charge shipping if it had been shipped out. I said I was not interested in paying shipping for an item that was misrepresented to me. They slammed down the receiver ending the call.

I called my credit card company and was told that as of the afternoon of the 10th, no charge had been made. Obviously, they charged my card in the afternoon after our morning conversation. I will be contacting the State's Attorney General's Office and filing a complaint.

I plan to call the company and ask for proof of shipment, but do not expect to receive it. I believe they are guilty of credit card fraud.
