Puppy Love Grooming Salon Terrible place. They don't care about dogs at all! Edmond Oklahoma

I am definitely not the type of person who complains about anything, but my recent experience with Puppy Love was so horrible that I want to get the word out. When I dropped off my dog, I was told that he could be done by about 3pm and was quoted a price by the front counter person for a bath.

I called them at 3 to see if my dog was done, and the woman who answered the phone sounded confused about even knowing if my dog was there or not. She put me on hold, then hung up on me. When I called back, the same woman answered, still not sounding sure who my dog was or if he was done, and she never apologized for hanging up on me. Finally, she told me that my dog should be done at about 4:30.

When I arrived to pick up my dog, I noticed that he wasn't entirely dry, and when I jokingly commented on that, the counter person rolled her eyes at me and said: "Well, the girl who did him isn't here anymore. She left for the day." She then told me that my price was almost $12 more than what I'd been quoted. When I pointed that out, the woman argued with me and basically said she couldn't do anything about it.

While I was waiting, I also witnessed one of the workers handling a small dog very, very roughly. The dog was crying and struggling, and the worker kept shoving it around and manhandling it. Also, it sounded like some staff were arguing, because I kept hearing them using profanity and yelling at each other. Very unprofessional.

And another thing that really bothered me was that the front person was talking to another customer about a bunch of puppies that were out in front of the store (the owner was trying to sell them), and she said that the owner was going to dump those puppies at the pound if they weren't sold soon. That really made me sick. Not only will I never recommend this place, but I honestly think they should be shut down completely. Just awful!!
