Pure-ecommerce Do Your Research Cary, North Carolina Internet

 I purchased a site from Pure-Ecommerce in 9/14, and am folding it after 19 months. I spent many 50+ hour weeks learning about running the site, finding vendors, loading products, writing content and working diligently on SEO including FB, Pinterest, Twitter and Blogging. I DIDN'T spend much time dealing with customers, because despite my efforts, I only had about 2 dozen orders in the history of the site. Do your research. Ask to speak to many of their customers. They gave me 2 customers that were successful, and 2 others that were still training and were gung-h*o (they were not aware of the pitfalls ahead). When I pressed them to speak to more past clients, they lied and told me they lose contact with them and aren't sure how their sites are doing. How can this be when they set up the sites? I wish I had pressed them more on this. If they have so many success stories, wouldn't they be able to provide dozens of money-making sites they helped customers launch? The reality is there probably aren't many. They are upfront about needing to put time and effort into creating a successful site-even when one does, however, most fields are so crowded and competitive that the chances for success are very slim. CAVEAT EMPTOR. If you decide to purchase a site, ask them to speak to many successful site owners. Watch the tap dancing begin.
