Just as similar reports about this company have indicated, "career opportunities" offered by Pure/CPG (I'm assuming that they've tried to phase out "CPG" since its name has become synonomous with fraud) are laced with deceit, scam and exploitation. They target job-hungry recent college grads armed with a strong work ethic and perhaps a naive mindset about achieving success. It's simply another one of the unfortunate multi-tiered marketing schemes that bait eager applicants into working hard for a few weeks, even months, before they realize that it's all a bunch of empty promises and bullshit. Unfortunately, I felt prey to these scumbags (Josh Woodford and Allison Crea) for a few weeks before shamefully realizing how badly I had been suckered into their manipulative little world of making $$$ off of other people. Long story short, they use corporate jargin like "management training program, account manager, etc" to get you in the door and make you think that it's a legit organization. Don't bother asking about the business model or how one specifically ascends the ladder into management because you will not get a straight answer. They will feed you vague references about getting "kickbacks from printing companies" based on how much you sell (which makes no sense at all). The "interview" consists of driving around all day in suburban neighborhoods like a glorified girl scout doing door-to-door sales all day (literally the "interview" is 8 hours of selling crap ranging from pizza coupons to free estimates for home improvement). I am embarassed to admit that I did this for 2 weeks (probably out of desperation because I needed a job) before seeing the light of day. Allison is really bitchy and tries to be intimidating when she is put on the spot. She responds in a defensive tone when asked specific questions about the business simply because there are no answers, and she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. She's just manipulative and money hungry. Speaking of tools, Josh sleeps fine at night knowing that he's wasting the time of hundreds of hard-working college grads as he cashes in on their efforts each day. It's blatantly obvious that Josh and Ali are in bed together (literally and figuratively speaking). There is an ongoing influx of people waiting to be interviewed simply because the turnover is so high (most people realize the absurdity of the situation after a while and quit). When I interviewed, I specifically asked how many people they were hiring and Allison said "one" which is laughable. I never complain or voice my concerns about anything, so posting this report is out of character for me. I just don't want any other decent accomplished human being to get suckered into this ring of bullshit. I thought about filing a formal complaint with the business bureau and letting Josh and Allison fry, but I know that their fate is already sealed. They may be sitting there all smug and arrogant now, karma is certainly a b***h, and boy do they have it coming. If I can prevent even one person from taking their bait, I feel like filing this report was a success. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and when there are 500 red flags waving in your face, don't turn the other cheek. This ship will sink one day, and the two spineless d***hbags at the helm will go down with it.
